Alice walked back out of the tower with the weapons in hand,
"I found these inside"

Watching the shovel pass from Vera to Osydios, Lian simply shrugged and rolled her eyes. Her ear perked, however, when she heard Alice walking out of the tower.
: "Oh?" Her gaze passed over the lance she was carrying, but after even a cursory look, Lian's mouth simply slanted, "Shame, another sharpened stick. Arvadian weaponry does seem to lack versatility."

"Hmmph. Mass produced tripe, not proper Arvaian craftsmanship. Do not judge unduly. Still..."

Chalco stepped forward and took the lance.

"Better than these slender twigs."

[Haspen]

"I will take the sword. Mine is almost broken." And she did take the iron sword for herself.

[Deidei]

Niccola looked like she was having a moment of clarity.
: "Ah, captain Orena. I was thinking before, that maybe I should try using swords as well as lances and I was wondering if you would want to help me with the basics, as you seem to be quite talented with a blade." She paused for a bit, continueing  in a calmer, less excited tone. "Only if you are willing and able to, of course."

Vera has at this point completed the burial rights.

I am not mobile enough. I wonder if Lady Kirena's horse is still around here...

"Mayhaps another time."

As for Vera, Kirena's horse ran away but the four horses and a wyvern, tied in the stables, were still there.

Vera returns to the group.

"I have completed Lady Kirena's burial. More on the subject of our next move, I have found the stable contains 4 horses and a wyvern, for those of us lacking mounts."

"I suppose they're the mounts of our ill-fated allies."

"Then hopefully they won't mind if we borrow them for a bit."

"I was trained to fly wyverns as a youth... hopefully this one is a good enough pedigree to bear the heaviness of my armour and I. Bronze does have a weight to it."

Lian rolled her eyes, glancing at Chalco's armor.
: "...I dread to think of how many beasts you have inconvenienced with that 'proper Arvadian craftsmanship'. Perhaps you should bear the title of 'Lord Steed Breaker'?"

"Wha..?" Chalco almost spluttered in outrage.
"This armour is a work of art, you mannerless vagabond! How dare you slander it! And any wyvern of proper ancestry would be able to bear it without issue. Impudent foreigner..."

[CrimsonEon]

A smirk slowly crept onto Lian's face.
: "Oh? My apologies, it's clear I'm not culturally educated. Quite the lesson, apparently Arvadians wield art on the battlefield." The spearwoman drummed her fingers on her lance, "Perhaps I should remodel this lance into a brush. I could quite literally paint the battlefield in blood, then. Would that be more apt?"

"Cease your nonsensical babble! This isn't your finger-painting art, or whatever you do in your backwards land. Forging is the purest of art and praticality! The works of my family were perfect in design and utility."
