As the stranger's sword bit deep into the wyvern rider, Lizbet gave the newcomer a measured look. 

"No, I should say not, but if your friends can fight that as well, things may yet turn around.  Might I ask your identity?"

: "Ah, well met! I am Niccola, a mercenary hired to protect the prince. The guy with the sword is our leader, Odysios."

[Twinwolf]

"Can't have you getting shot out of the sky, can we?"

"My gratitude for your assistance, but perhaps introductions can wait until after through the life-and-death combat?"

Lizbet relaxed slightly, relieved.  It had seemed increasingly likely that they were here to help the Prince, but if they had been fighting the Imperials or seeking the Prince for their own reasons, that could have been problematic. 

"Well met, indeed, and your aid is sorely welcome.  I am Lady Lizbet Wyndam, fourth daughter of Duke Wyndam.  I look forward to meeting Odysios and the remainder of your friends once we finish the business before us."

[Deidei]

: "Sorry Tin Man!"

"Tin Man?!" Despite himself, Chalco made a small sound of outrage. "This is bronze, not just mere tin!"

[Deidei]

: "Your armour might be bronze but your reaction is gold!"
Niccola seemed to be enjoying herself, despite aforementioned life-and-death combat.

Alice lay on the floor groaning.

"Might be a sellsword, but at least she doesn't wear antique armor on the battlefield." Sen said, following from the rear. "Now, just let me get a good shot..."

The wyverns disregarded the closer enemies and went after Lizbeth.

"Nice job, Captain! You fliers, get rid of the healer woman otherwise we will be stuck here forever!" Took one lance blow for Vera to join the others on the ground.

The troubadour once more healed Lieutenant Mirhan.
