"I must disagree. Weren't you really good at casting iron?"

Even through the helmet, Niccola could feel the weight of his judgemental gaze.

Galen looks around at the others in awe. They saw that, right? He actually just did that?

Wasting no time, Vera goes around and heals anyone who is wounded.

Iolani breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well then. That's all taken care of. Who agrees we should just rest here a bit?"

She leaned down against the wall, enjoying the shade it provided.

Mouth still slanted- whether it was due to her lack of combat, Niccola's pun, or both was unknown- Lian replied curtly to the mage.
: "I do not. Every minute spent resting is another minute spent dawdling in this wasteland."

"We will talk about that in a moment." Then Prince Titon ventured to the non-corpse-ridden part of the ruins, homing in on a plainly visible well in the corner of a place that was once gardens and now was a square of walkways with some desert weed growing up between the cracked stone.

Following an enthusiastic 'yes!', Titon lowered the well's bucket, on a chain, downwards.

"I... I don't even work with iron. Hmmph! Bronze is much superior!"
"...Still, I'm surprised you know about cast iron. You didn't strike me as one who would know about metalwork."

"Oh, I don't. Not really, anyway. I have travelled a bit though, and you can meet some interesting people and learn quite a lot if you keep your eyes and ears open."

Iolani yawned and gestured at the surrounding buildings.

"It's not like we're going to make it out of the desert today anyways. And we have cover here, as well as presumably water given the excitement we just heard from the prince. Seems like the perfect place to camp out for a little."
