~~Prologue: The First Tremor~~

Vaden, Imperial Palace of Arvadia

Called to the Capital, Prince Titon gathered few retainers and left his cozy grandmother's residence in the south. There was no secret about the goal of the journey; a new Emperor was to be choosen. If Titon will be choosen, his brother will surely rebel. If his brother will be chosen, Titon will probably be killed. There was no peaceful resolution to this, but...

Prince Titon has been gone for over twenty minutes now. He have instructed his retainers to wait for him near the stables; if the soldiers will come rushing for them and Prince wouldn't show up first, they were told to take the horses and run for their lives.

Suddenly, one of the high windows several floors above the heads of Titon's retainers shattered.

A pained grunt came from a nearby watchtower.

SLAM! Went the door as Prince Titon burst through to the outside, almost tripping over his legs as he ran toward his retainers!

"To the stables! Run! RUUNN!!" Just as he passed Lizbeth, a bunch of Imperial Guards rushed outside, armed with mean-looking axes.

Inside, an armored officer gritted his teeth, spewing obscenities at his subordinates under his breath.

"What are you idiots doing!? Do not let him escape again!!"

//Lizbeth Wyndam, Chalco Pyritos and Vera Alester are now active!

~~Player Turn 1~~

Objectives:
Evacuate to the stables in the east; anyone who ends their turn at three green-indicated tiles will be removed from the map and considered 'safe'.
Do not stay behind.
Prince Titon must survive at any cost.

Vera had been muttering prayers- for Titon, and her and the other retainers- when Titon came bursting through the door. She was about to say something, and then there were big dudes with axes. She decided to follow orders.

That said, Chalco turned and ran, his armour clanking with every step.

For her part, Lizbet had mostly attempted to remain calm and utterly unfazed by the situation.  After harnessing Alauda and making her ready for flight along with checking on the horses for the others, she had come out again to wait with the others.  The exploding window drew her attention upwards, just as Titon came charging out the door. 

"I still wish..., she murmured as she watched the prince running towards them.  As she passed her and the soldiers came charging out after them, she lit off with the others.  Running alongside the prince before he outpaced her, she said, "Prince Titon, our mounts are ready.  They're in the nearest four stalls."

The axemen began to gain on the retainers.

Suddenly the southern door has been opened while Titon was running past. A lady in her thirties left the barracks with a bunch of lancers.

"Oh no, Captain Orena, you too? Did Lafach bribe you too!?"

"Huh? What? Sir, I don't know what-"

"Captain Orena! Step back or you will be branded as traitor who stands against the will of Emperor Lafach!"

"What? What?? That's preposterous. I won't be standing aside while an usurper takes the throne! Prince Titon! I shall lend my blade to you!"

//NPC: Captain Irza Orena joins the party!

"And we will help too!"

"Move it people! Take Prince to safety! We will hold these thugs here!"

"Thugs!?"

"Captain Orena, I..."

Should Prince Titon persuade Orena to go with him? Go vote in OOC thread (poll open till next turn update)!

~~Player Turn 2~~

Objectives:
Evacuate to the stables in the east; anyone who ends their turn at three green-indicated tiles will be removed from the map and considered 'safe'.
OR
Sacrifice yourself(s) to help Captain Irza and her soldiers buy some time for Prince Titon's escape.
Prince Titon must survive at any cost.

"I will follow you!"

"We will stay behind! Captain Orena, please guard the Prince!"

"Ah, are you mad?? You have lances, they have axes - this is a suicide!"

"Nevertheless, if someone doesn't stay behind, we are all doomed!" The soldiers bravely began to block the path to the stables!
