Finally read this after forgetting about it after the end of the SG bit. If I had known that players would be neoprimitives escorting Ila, I'd have joined.

So that I could backstab the rest.

It's a multiple-perspective thing, the first bit just had a bad format and was cut short because I can't into RTD. So who knows where the story will go next :P

Well executed. I can hardly wait for the Next chapter.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

I saw what you did there.

I assume that I didn't give the watch back to the guard, so there would be no way of him to use it during the execution, but I'm just wondering why he didn't use it earlier. Judging by how easy it was to take off of him, was he knocked unconscious?

His arm was dislocated when he tripped down the stairs, which I presume is quite painful (I've never had it happen to me). Once he was restrained in the van and you were on the way, it'd be quite difficult for him to fight against five armed assailants anyway.

It's still technically Saturday where I live :P I slept for thirteen hours today, if that indicates the kind of week I had at all. Currently writing the first post of the next mission, which will be a gritty reboot to appeal to adult fans of the original. :P

It is the year 2062. You are soldiers, representing one trillionth of your government's power. If you won't pull the trigger on your fellow countrymen, your commander can find somebody that will.

The country has been plunged into violence, as the gap between the government and the people grows ever wider. Neoprimitives and savages destroy infrastructure and technology, slowing the spread of information and keeping peace out of reach. Affluent aristocrats seclude themselves in self-sufficient neighborhoods, ivory towers safely locked away from the consequences of their actions. Neither side is right, but both are shooting to kill.

The team (1 spot available):

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Your mission:

A cell of neoprimitives has erupted in an office skyscraper near one of the "safe zones", an affluent neighborhood home to many minor politicians and media personalities. You are to enter the building and neutralize the terrorists, while ensuring that the operation remains unseen by the inhabitants of the neighborhood. It must appear that nothing is amiss... got it?

Execution:

The terrorists are believed to have occupied the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd floors of the building. Although this was an impromptu, disorganized attack, they seem to have some kind of leadership; possibly a sleeper agent, or a lone wolf who had been planning this for some time.

You will enter the building via the basement parking garage in a civilian vehicle. From there, use your discretion to ascend to the terrorists' level and eliminate them, while being seen as little as possible by noncombatants.

You have sniper support on the southern face of the building, but it most likely will not be helpful; whoever is leading the attackers has been smart enough to keep them away from the windows to this point.

Your gear:

For this mission, the armory has approved the use of:

Primary weapons:

- 4x 2x Silenced sub-machine gun (does not alert enemies)
- 2x 1x Assault shotgun (can breach locked doors)

Grenades:

- 4x smoke grenades (+1 to rolls for taking cover or moving in gunfire)
- 4x 1x tear gas grenades
- 2x 1x fragmentation grenades

Gear:

- 1x man-portable energy shield (same as the shield from the first mission. Wrist mounted. Slightly too big to fit through a regular doorway when activated)
- 1x "Angel" thermal goggles (allows you to see through some walls)

Each operative can carry one primary weapon, two grenades, and one gear.

I'm taking a silenced sub-machine gun, 2 smoke grenades and 2 tear gas grenades. I don't need none of them fancy gadgets to succeed!

Do you guys want to start the game with only two people, or should I hold out for more?

A dastardly duo. That would be amazing. (Could I have the rest of the grenades or at least 2 frags - its not like anyone else will use them.)

I'll join with an SMG, 1 frag, 1 teargas, and 2 smokes if possible.
