Is there a word that combines comedy with tragedy and farce?
Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Look for some string and a heavy box

You take the shoelaces from one of the dead terrorist's shoes; it's a fairly decent length. There's also a box that apparently contained somebody's new work computer, as well.
