What's your favorite DF updates?


My list:

1- cats and kittens! So funny!!
2- Nobles
3- The circus
4- minecarts
5- vampires infiltrating my fort!

In no particular order

1) Vampires
2) The underground rewrite
3) The addition of many extra creatures.
4) Statue rewrite
5) basically, anything that helped flesh out the world.

1 - ability to embark anywhere (not just limited predetermined mountain sites)

2 - z-levels

The other major updates such as improved animal husbandry and agriculture, as well as town development were great too.  But I the above were my favs.

1. Multi level trees
2. All else

Nothing made DF more visually immersive and realistic than that update, for me at least.
