Hmmmmm... Alright, well, lets have  a retracting bridge for the entrance corridor, with a pool of hungry carp underneath, every so often throw some meat down there, to keep them bloodthirsty (yet well fed enough to breed) and have a legion of down-trodden serfs throwing buckets of water in it to keep levels high. Then when the gobbos invade, lock them in, pull the switch, and watch them flail as they are mercilessly nibbled unto death. For added laughs, edit carp so they are fireproof, and make it it a magma pool. Good times...

EDIT :: Make it 3-4 z levels beneath the bridge, that way you can have tunnels underneath for easy release of more carp and refilling.

My tanks are filled from the river with grates to keep fresh water flowing, by the way do not let any warcarp escape into the river or nothing will be left alive...

why not just flood your entrance hall to 3/7 and let the warcarp loose there? that way when siegers come a knockin' they'll be in for a surprise when they're missing their ankles.

i guess this is a moot point of warcarp are still thirsty for dwarven blood.
