"We better go home." Carla suggests as she tries to wipe the powder off her EVA suit without much success. The mutant then hefts the pulverizer and begins the 45 minute trek back to the pod.

Take some samples of the meteorite and the dust surrounding it and follow Carla

(Guess StrawBarrel would probably follow them back too, I'll stop waiting)

The three prospectors head back to the capsule, hearing Jason's message on the way. The pulverizers would be needed to start on any construction. Fee, after meeting them at the meteorite, continues exploring, leaving the crater at the same time as the others. She begins to find many tiny craters, and the occasional small, shiny, black or dark brown shard strewn in the dust. Her exploration is in no particular pattern, but it wouldn't be hard to find her way back: footprints are easily identifiable in the dust. They are a bit strange, though: spaced so far apart, as every step is like a long, slow leap in this extremely low gravity. Some may find the experience frightening, as the force holding them to this rock, preventing them from drifting off with no hope of recovery, seems so tenuous.

We should start digging down into the asteroid for our initial base, we should make larger plans but I think some hard work is what we need for now.  I am thinking two shifts with the pulverizers so we can be working at it around the clock.

Grab one of the pulverizers when it is brought back and start working on a mine shaft wherever the initial entrance was planned.

Carla follows Terry's lead. She picks up a pulverizer and begins working on the mineshaft as well.

Jason sees everyone return and get to mining and speaks over the radio again. "So, are we going through with the plan or are you guys just doing your own thing?"

"I'm pretty sure we're following the blueprints." Carla says. "But if we aren't, feel free to correct us."

(It's time to start doing things again, in general. Sorry for the wait.)

Carla, Zero, and Terry get to work following Jason's plans once all the pulverizers are back at the capsule. It's a bit slow going at first, due to inexperience, but before long they've managed to dig a pit in which to build the very first room. Their work sends a huge plume of dust out into space, and by the end of it, they're looking at a roughly square hole in the asteroid filled with crushed rocks, prime to be processed. They'd need the metal for the above-ground portion of the construction.

3600 rock gained

Fee continues to roam the dusty expanse, looking for anything to stand out. There are quite a few of the shiny, dark, sharp shards embedded in the dust, now that she's noticed them, but she hasn't found many new, large features of note... except, what's this, over that ridge? A chasm? Is that ice in there... wait, but there's a set of footprints on the other side of the chasm. Something seemed familiar about this.

Examine boots. Examine footprints. Do they match?

Carla scans their handiwork. Not bad.

"Should we heft these rocks out of here?" Carla questions over the channel.
