Begin researching some of the cars and car companies that he posts about on Twitter, in case we need to befriend him.

Go to the bar at some point after 10pm for a drink or two, though only to observe him and his friends (what day is it, actually? Monday?)

If it's not Wednesday, find a class for martial arts so we can defend ourselves to some extent in the future.

I like the idea of our character being schizophrenic and we're the voices in his head...

He really enjoys muscle cars. (Intel = 3) You find out enough information to strike up a conversation and maintain it for a bit.

It is Monday, so you look into martial arts classes. There are several different ones, and each one focuses on different styles of martial arts. One focuses on Mantis Style Kung-Fu, another focuses on MMA, one focuses on wrestling techniques, and the last one focuses on basic karate.

Go to work even if we'll get there early. Try to recall who Derrek Sanderson. Do we know him personally? Did he bully us in school or something?

I would like a wrestling class, as close up grappling skills would like prove useful.

You go into detail about the wrestling classes. Its 120$ per month and requires you to buy 200$ worth of gear (helmet, etc.). You have to show up there to register.

The very thought of him brings up so much anger and resentment that you can't remember much. All you remember is from last night (clearly you met before) and even then, its hazy. You lift up your shit as you remember and see several fresh bruises. The more you try to remember, the more your emotions flare up.

COMMON SENSE:Maybe now is not the time to remember what was done to you

Your insanity has increased

You head to work and get started. After a few hours of sitting and programming jargon, you go on your lunch break (12:30pm). Since you forgot to pack a lunch (and most days, you just don't), there are several options for lunch:

Coffee Cafe - 5$ for Coffee and Bagel (More energy, warmth, but hunger faster)
Pizza Place - 6$ for Pizza slice and pop (Quick, slightly more energy)
Fast Food -8$ for Burger+Fries with a pop (Full, unhealthy and slightly more energy)
Deli Shop - 7$ for sandwich and drink (Healthier, no extra energy given)
Eat at home - Free (Chance of returning late)

You have a 1 hour to drive to your destination, eat, and return to work in time.

I don't think wrestling is deadly enough. MMA, karate or kung fu sounds better. Let's do MMA.

I think we should discuss our MO. Do we want to make everything look like an accident, or does Derrwk Sanderson Need To Pay?  If he Needs To Pay, then we should have a calling card.

Why not do both?
crush him under a car, and leave a playing card at the scene, ace of X or so on and so forth

If we can make it look like an accident, then we make it look like one. If we can't, just stab/shoot/whatever the guy.

Calling cards are a foolish idea.

IRL, yes, but in drama, calling cards are a staple of serial killers everywhere! If not calling cards, we should at least have a recurring theme of acts done to the victim- removing a certain body part, perhaps, or cutting patterns into their body?
