In any case about the defender and warden debate, we should all together decide on this turn's actions. Ebbor, do you agree we should only build one Defender fleet and do nothing beside that?

I have for the last 2 turns, argued against the construction of a defender. I think the answer should be obvious.

I'm alright with the nothing part, though.

I don't want defenders becuase they will drain us of energy and prevent us from gathering more.

We need to look into increasing our energy output WITHOUT destroying the planet. I have a hunch systems research may help us with that. The fact we're already at our capacity for infrastructure means we're at a problem.

Because whats the point of fighting for our lives if we kill ourselves in the process?

Can we spend actions and resources to expand infrastructure maybe? GM?

We~ll. You guys don't like this option, or so it seems.
Discard remaining "Environment Preservation Laws": +10 Resources, +15 Energy, +2 Pollution each Turn

Still, we could build something. This sounds about right;

Reactor Complex - "Ravenous"
Utilize all kinds of lesser fuels, for the growing need of the ukron people.
25 Resources, 10 Energy
Convert 3 Resources into 1 Energy and 0,5 Pollution, up to a maximum of 5 Energy per turn.

(Owner , i'd like to ask you a question. How the ennemy bomb works?)
Sadly, the exact workings are currently unknown to the ukron. They would suspect fusion, anti-matter, or - which might be most probable - something unkown to them. As for the result, it goes "boom". The sudden expansion of some sort of matter, creates a shockwave, which results in a great deal of destruction in the surrounding area.  :P

On a more game-play kind of note, the bombs that have been used by the "Defilers" in the last invasion, were loosened in the upper atmosphere. I am quite sure that battles will play out on a grid, and in case of an attack naariv will also be visible, together with the "Wardens". The atmosphere should be 2-3 tiles thick, and if one of the Defilers enters as far, they can then attack ground targets that are somewhat close to them.

I am not entirely aware of the effects of pollution in this game, but I feel like it's a bad thing.

I agree... I suppose we'll just have to deal with it

Renounce "Sustainable Population Act" The sooner, the better.
Build a Warden PDS.

I'm renouncing that 'build a warden PDS' part, and am mostly fine with just waiting to consolidate our resources this turn.

I'd still like the population growth act. It's not getting any cheaper just because we get more income, every 2 turns we delay costs 1 resource income until we hit the pop cap, and I expect that we'll have more chances for expanding that.

On the other hand, it doesn't cost us anything. As such, it's best to do it as late as possible. As other have said (and convinced me) resources now are better than resources later.

Changing my vote to:
Build Warden PDS
Discard remaining "Environment Preservation Laws"
and nothing else

Because as ebbor said, the warden is the better choice at defense right now, rather than the vessels we have, and we do need resources (and hopefully can deal with pollution later in some way).

We do the PDS, you're committing to not doing research next turn. Remember that

1 defender fleet, renounce population laws.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Huh?

If we do nothing now, we have 56r/56e available next turn. A Warden costs 10r/15e. That would leave us with 46r/41e, enough to research xeno systems. I'd still rather hold those resources in reserve, but a single warden wouldn't keep us from researching.

I need to stop glancing it over. I swore that it took 20 energy.

I'm having quite the bad day, with misreading everything, my math being wrong and RL shit distracting me.

I still am against the renouncing of the population act and I will not stop that. Again, it has no net profit to us at all right now and it only makes it take longer to do anything with our resources. Other constructions, because I seem to be yelled at regardless whatever I pick, I'll let you guys handle.
