The tournament announcer would quickly scoop up his microphone and begin to speak. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Everybody who signed up for the tournament, please come to backstage. The first match will be a... Legion versus Desme." A green man with antennae pumps the air.

"Aight Hun, Time for my match, wish me lotsa luck!" He gives her a hug and his children as well before Waving as he goes backstage on demand.

[SOLDIER First]

Matilda goes backstage as well.
She sizes up her competitors as they shuffle in. She'd bet nobody even close to her age (or height, s-shut up!) even thought about showing up.

[RAM]

Smith selects an unobtrusive spectating position and prepares to sense the energies of the competitors.

[BFEL]

Seeing his opponent, Legion feels a mix of emotions. On the one hand, he was set up against another of his people, giving him an early chance to fuse. On the other hand, if he does so during the match, he will likely be disqualified for "killing" his opponent.

With a terse grunt he steps his way into the ring and senses out the energy of this "Desme"

Looking at the fight about to go underway, Dr. Axal comments. "Well they both LOOK fun enough, ya?" Despite the distinct disadvantage it would present, he wishes he brought his Popcorn synthesizer, utilizing compressed kernels to produce fluffy salted goodness on demand. He fidgets and finds a wall to get comfortable with.

The participants would all walk towards the back, to be greeted by amazing quantities of food, as well as a clean man in a suit. "Why hello. Welcome to the World Martial Arts Tournament. Please feel free to eat any of the food or use the bathrooms we have provided you."

As Matilda stared at her opponents, she realized that there was somebody younger than her in the competition! Almost as tall, though. Darn.

Wesson Smith would sense out the power level of their opponents, noting the biggest threats being a green person and a child with a tail.

Legion senses the power level of 'Desme'.(Just realized it sounds like Dende) What? THIS POWER! IT'S UNLIKE ANYTHING YOU'VE EVER SEE- Actually, it's barely higher than yours. Sorry 'bout that.

Andrew promptly stuffs his face with popcorn the minute the fight starts.

[RAM]

Smith took the preparation time as an opportunity to look over the fighters, looking for hostilities that might suggest fighters who would be uncooperative. But mostly just settled in, acquired some food, and watched the show.

[SOLDIER First]

Matilda grabs a bite to eat and approaches this infidel.
"So, kid, you think you can take all these people on?"
Her tone is curious, but... Kind. -Ish.

Legion senses out the other Namek. (Not Desme, the other one)

Corflick walks in and starts eating all the food.
