ZM moves are just a story telling device-like the one going for Max because he gave ground, or the cinderblock wielder charging Luke, because of Aseaheru's plinky little bullets.

You rolled a 3, that is probably why it failed, not the plan itself. Basically you missed. If you had rolled a 12, it would have probably killed it outright.

The same way Claire would note disgusting medical factoids, Bernice could talk tennis or her experience living rough and poor, Luke could talk cop and street, or Everett could talk about tracking or hunting, possibly with varmint related cooking tips.

Max Power, unfortunately, I don't have much idea what background to draw on in relation to knowledge. He doesn't seem to have much of a past. I assumed it was amnesia/trauma.
