Spoiler: Hobo Power (click to show/hide)

Mechanics of the character. Anyone want to have any ties to her? I wanted to ask before writing the bio so I could take it into account.
I'd be down for it.

Sure, it works. Although that assumes that Dwarmin will approve the whole caravan thing, so I'll wait on their say.

At this point, the caravan's vehicles are junk-you will be on foot initially.

Well, the backstory involved leaving the caravan, so that would be expected.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Spoiler: Huge ass quote pyramid (click to show/hide)

It's a lot better than what I could've come up with :))

I would prefer something that didn't go quite so far back, though. I'm not so good with writing character bios, and don't really want to change it because it's so hard :(

Perhaps Jason and Doc were thrown together among some of the petty tribal factions, one or the other being captured by a tribe/group that the other one was a part of, who them lobbied the leadership to allow them to be free because they have useful medical skills.

I like the idea that they failed to save someone, and then had to leave for fear of reprisals. Maybe that person is now a Rotter, being kept caged because their family want Doc and Jason to fix it?

Caravan thing works for me, subject to others' approval.

Anyway, whatevs. +1 ties between Doc and Jason :P

Okay, how bout' this.

Doc was in the hospital by himself, kidnapped by a militia that eventually devolved into a despotic tribe. The tribe absorbed several groups around the area, including the one containing Jason. They teamed up to serve as the medics for the faction, but then the Warlord's spouse got ill, and died despite their best efforts, and became a rotter. The Warlord is nuts, thinks they're responsible. They had to flee.

Assuming the Warlord catches them, he or she is gonna feed them to the rotter. Bit by bit. The Warlord could be some sort of antagonist for the GM to use - maybe he sends a bounty hunter after them or something. Offers one of his slaves their families freedom if the slave in question brings the two back. I'm just spitballing here.

Then the two of them met Harriet and some other merchant types and joined the caravan. Maybe they hired Holiday on. They meet him wandering after his primary group fell, and they offered him pay, or food, in exchange for his skills protecting the caravan.

As for working in Ebony...I don't even. She's a creepy goth girl heroine with a trenchcoat and katana. They probably met her living in some spooky, half-flooded ruin singing Tiny Tim songs. Maybe they were nice to her and now she won't stop following them. Maybe the foibles of the caravanserai (is that the right word?) entertain her.

Again, these are all ideas. I am by no means insisting we do things this way: do not feel pressured to accept these backstories - I can change this stuff around no problem.

Yeah, I have no clue for Ebony either, because, as you say, she's a creepy goth heroine with a trenchcoat and katana.

I may not have been in the most serious mood when I made her, really.

Maybe Ebony and 273 could have been in a group befoire meeting the rest of the party? You know, since it makes sense for a less than fighty woman to pair up with someone to act as her muscles.

That would be OK-we really don't need much more then an excuse to bring everyone together  :P. Did the caravan split up after everything broke down or something?

**EDIT**

Also, edited my sheet again. I copied Glacies's as a base and he put -1 for one instead of +1, so I did too  :-X. Fixed it.

Possible backstory:
273 and Gianna met early on in the fall: 273 serves as a sort of surrogate father figure or just a mentor? Maybe 273 rescues Gianna from bad guys, rotters or whatever, or maybe Gianna helps 273 escape his captors. They get trapped in a metro system together and worked their way out, learning to trust each other etc. on the way - then they've sort of stuck together, scavenging and making their way steadily up the west coast - their eventual goal was to get to [fill in the blank utopia pipe dream]

We have them bump into the Caravan and game opens just after it's agreed they'll join the group?

Very 'The Last of Us' except I've never played it so that's what I imagine it's like.

They could have been 'stowaways' or something, if we are trying to gather everyone together in the backstory. Hiding in the caravan's food truck, in boxes way in the back.

Far right is Harriet?

Yep. She's tall, and she's wearing a large, badly fitting coat thing.
