--Meanwhile--

Kira blinks at the ceiling. Or rather, the lack thereof. What happened...? She thinks, sitting up.

She tries to remember what happened last night, and looks around the room.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Eep, yeah, sorry. There was a two-or-so-page conversation between that post and the update. :v

I took some artistic liberties with that Intimidate check, mostly to avoid rolling six separate intimidate checks for people whose stats are currently limited to basic combat abilities. :v

By the way, Twinwolf, it's not really necessary to mark all those spells on your list--it'll suffice to just change the list depending on which spells you prep each day. Oh, and you don't have any level 3 spells yet--your bonus spell from your Wis score doesn't let you cast them. You'll have to wait until level 5 for that. Don't worry about wasting that bonus spell, though. You can just funnel it into a lower-level slot.

Man, I wish the hitpoint rules were a little less simplistic at times like these. Removing the critical existence failure aspect would make the rocket tag even worse, though. :v

Also, commemorating the release of DF2015, I have created one of my traditional ASCII maps. I'm hoping for a little more variety in the maps I make this time around; in the past, my maps have felt kind of, er, flat, so to speak.

For those of you who remembered that I said I'd roll your HP, I think I can trust you to do it yourselves. Sorry about that. :v

Also, I think my dice hate you guys.

Did you forget Tam Barl Daar has 10 Dr/silver?

Unless the man is really, really strong, or inexplicably has a silver weapon, I should only have taken 1 damage from that.

Did you also forget that most of the enemies we attacked in this round are flat footed? Unless these guys got magical chainmail, a buff spell, or natural armor, there's no way they have 17 AC.

Crap, really? I'll go fix that. Totally spaced on that. :v

Most of them have shields. Specifically, the bandit leader, the guy Tam went after, and the guy Tradok is fighting.

Yeah, Tam's DR is quite an important part of her role as a front line combatant :P

You also get three attacks at full BAB :P

Fair enough, I'm crappy enough in melee it's probably balanced out-I do about 1/3 of your FA damage on my own, and 2/3 of your damage if I get both sneak attacks, tho my to-hit is much worse in all cases. From now on I'm going to be using TD alot and letting the Tiger do the work. We come a bit closer when trading single attacks, however, but these immobile battles where we trade full attacks at each other, are pretty poorly designed with my character in mind.
