Any who desert or fail to fight off the berserker they are paired with are magically infused with pure painfruit, their screams shall motivate the others not to fail.
((Yesss. "Infused by painfruit" after losing a spar with an Undermoon berserker.))

((As I noted, its my personal goal in this game to turn painfruit from a hilarious sham by a snake oil salesman into the literal cause of all suffering in the world))

((I'm pretty sure he meant Locke and CLASSIFIED
Though I hope to corrupt them both :P))

((Impossible. CLASSIFIED is a totally evil assassin who has killed a bunch of good-hearted adventurers, and Locke is just.... pure.... evil!))

((I meant Locke and the high priestess. <CLASSIFIED> hasn't really done much to outweigh being an assassin.))

((Ah, I forgot about the priestess. Though I'm not sure she's entirely good, seeing how she's used more then one action stirring up crowds for witch hunts and the like. Will be interesting to turn her beliefs :P
As for CLASSIFIED, I get the feeling he does what he does for love of his country or some such.))

((Well, from a consequentionalist standpoint, she's really leaning good since she was the only one to really act against the cult I said and named as evil, and hasn't done anything to really show herself as an elven politician using religion to gain power.
Although if I use that logic, Darius is pretty moral as well, even if he keeps talking about his avarice, and Locke hasn't really changed much other than a bit of tax reduction.

Okay, so, if Darius and Locke are both half good ....))

((I only now realize just how skewed our adviser count is towards evil. We have maybe two non-evil advisers in Justdale.))

( ( I mean John Locke is good guy right?))

(( I mean he's honestly trying to help people even if its something is a little something to desire of))

(PS :  I mean John is only jester, he can't do that much without stepping out of his boundaries)

I speak at a memorial ceremony for the late advisor. "Sage Holtz was a man we can all learn from. He claimed to deal in immortality, but his 'mannafruit' has only brought us destruction. Let us remember him as an example of the consequences of hubris. But also remember that he helped our kingdom in its time of need. May the gods have mercy on his soul."

Later I meet with the necromancers, who I assume are under my command now. "I may not agree with all your practices, but you've proven we can work together against a greater evil. The Cult of Darkness is weakened, but they are still a festering sore on our kingdom. I need you to continue driving them from our lands." I command the necromancers to arrest cultists and disrupt their greater plans.

I wish I could aid them personally, but there are many threats to address. I try to quell the rebellion by raising religious support for the monarchy.

((She DID claim the vial of tax exemption to be holy, while rather blatantly not actually believing so. So she's certainly capable of using religion to gain power when she wants to.))

Zechtenmarkus approaches priestess Asha Imeremifava
Ok lets try and find some way to divide the mages, because We are the most powerful magic users in the kingdom, Even if your powers come from a god, we had best split the mages.
So which mages do you want out of the lot of em?

Erhrm. I also have powerful magic. And I'm personally interested in the body mage.
