Where is everyone?

Out of reasons unknown to mortal beings, you begin to intensely stare at the stone.
You stare for minutes - three, four, five, and yet you don't stop to stare.
As you stare on the stone like someone thrown out of the local asylum because you were too absurdly crazy for them to handle,
you pull out your knife and, like in a trance, begin to cut your lower arm. You then let your blood drip onto the glowing stone.

Suddenly, you become aware of yourself again, blink and try to comprehend what just happened.
Slightly worried, you look down and see your bloody arm, but you quickly forget that as the stone begins to glow brighter and brighter.
You can't see anything and close your eyes. If you wouldn't be so naturally calm, you would definitely panic now, but you just stand there and wait.

You wait for another five minutes, and finally the light grows weaker again.
When you open your eyes again, you can't see the stone. You sigh and murmur to yourself: "Surprise...",
but let out a gasp as you turn around and see the stone floating there at your side, only weakly glowing.




What do you do?

Name the stone "Glowy" while screaming the words then proceed to cossack dance out of the store and head west.

You decide to name the stone glowy. Because, you know, it glows. Obvious, isn't it?

You pat glowy with your bloody hand, but it seems unimpressed.

As you get ready to cossack-dance the hell outta here, you hold in and look around once more.
Something is off, but you can't take a finger on it. You sense it more than seeing.





What do you do?

Creep silently around the area, sticking to the edges of the building.  Avoid open spaces and find the source of the disturbance.

I see three glow splotches and Glowly glowing more in this scene. I wonder what that means...

I actually don't think so.  2 is not the minimum viable population for humans.  Or any other mammal, for that matter.  You could get a few more generations in, I guess, before the species' inevitable extinction.
