I've been ambushed.



This is my first battle against an enemy that isn't a distracted cave creature, easy-to-kill cave creature, or innocent goblin civilian. This time, the enemy I face is an actual threat, so it's time to see how I hold up against these goblins.

The first one falls. Can't spend time to kill them yet, so knocking them unconscious will have to do.


Idiots.


Thanks to them, I was able to easily take out the spearman.


One guy bleeds out, and now the goblin ambushers are all running. At least now I can kill off the unconscious ones.

I found an iron helmet on the swordsman, should be useful.

So I'm chasing down a retreating goblin bowman...



Troll hides are no joke. The only times where I was actually able to break the skin was with heavy attacks.

*Returning to the hillocks, asking the dwarves about any trouble*

Me: Any troubles?

Dwarf: Well, there's a forest titan in the Pristine Beach of the Forests of Sneaking

Me: Where's that?

Dwarf: I don't know, you should talk to the human Mokun Sloppywalks.

Me: Where's he?

Dwarf: I don't know him.

Me: THEN HOW DID YOU SUGGEST HIM AS A GUIDE

EDIT: So it turns out they do know where he is. You have to ask for the person's whereabouts, not the person himself.

So yeah, troll hides really are tough. I was fighting off a second ambush, and got hit in the stomach by a crossbow bolt. The thing that stopped it from being a serious wound was the troll fur cloak I took off that goblin bowman.

A lot of the beasts he tells me the location of are ridiculously far away. I'm going to have to become a night creature at some point to tackle the longer travel distances. I have found a location that isn't too far away.

I've found a goblin pit right next to a river. I'm wondering what could happen if I swim down the river to access the pit.

EDIT: Holy shit, I almost drowned. Maybe not the best plan.

Sorry about the lack of updates, but I'm finally back with more. The place in question is a labyrinth to the west known as Justicehowls. I'm going to be fighting the minotaur that resides within.

I was leaving a dwarven hillocks slightly to the west of the one where I found Mokun, and I've been ambushed by a giant tiger recruit. It's very close to the actual hillocks and if I don't kill it, it will undoubtedly slaughter the residents.

EDIT: The tiger has a name, Esteemedflames. He's killed before. I must put an end to his rampage.

Well, that was actually...really easy. A total of four quick slashes and one heavy slash, and the tiger has given in to pain.

I've entered the labyrinth. It is nighttime, and my character is drowsy, but I should still be able to handle myself once I find the minotaur.

Sneaking through the labyrinth, I can hear him claiming to grind me into porridge. How he managed to hear me as I snuck through the labyrinth is beyond me.
