What bonuses does the colony computer give again?

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

It would be a good idea to add that wouldn't it...

* Optronic Central Computer
        Counts as 5 manpower for trivial tasks (can operate 50 trivial facilities)
        Choose 1:
            +30 bonus to one of virtually any construction, engineering, mining, science or maintenance action
            [0/2] Engineering (design only, same as your VR project) slot : +20

Can we use more than one option for the event? I wouldent mind having both A and B.

Sure as long as they make sense.

Event Choice:B, D  Looks like we'll need to re-prioritize drainage so we don't simply wash away. Also, given how this area is actually sand and sandy rock, we'll need to think about mudslide prevention.

* [1/1] Heavy Bot Mech
   - Conversion: +5 bonus: Support drainage construction, rollover to supporting base building

* [0/1] Powered Exo-skeleton Constructor Units [Damaged, half manpower]
   - Construction : -5 penalty
   - Conversion : +5 bonus to another construction action

* [2/2] Powered Exo-skeleton Constructor Units
   - Construction +10:Place drainage pumps and tanks as they're built, rollover to base building(-20 New World)

* [2/2]Digging & drilling vehicles.
    - Conversion: support drainage project, rollover to continue digging base(once the area is drained)

* [2/2] Damage Control & machine shop
    - Maintenance and Repair Action:Fix Exosuit, rollover to general maintenance (+10)

* [2/2] Medical Bay.
    -Wake Up Crew:wake 3 more people this month to compensate for scheduling snafus

* [1/1] My First Factory kit
   -Conversion:Support drainage project by building pumps and water holding tanks.

* Optronic Central Computer: Support designing mineral processing facility
        Counts as 5 manpower for trivial tasks (can operate 50 trivial facilities)
        Choose 1:
            +30 bonus to one of virtually any construction, engineering, mining, science or maintenance action

* [1/1] VR CAD
    - Engineering slot:Design mineral processing facility. Should be more robust than a simple ore processor, as well as allow for metallurgical and geological studies and research and precision mineral assays.(+20 Natalia, +10 New World, +30 central computer)
    VR Pod bonus Choose 1:
   - Reduce Engineering slot manpower to [0/1]

* [0/4] Satellite Survey
    - Exploration action  (+10 bonus)
    - Conversion : Can provide a +10 bonus to an appropriate mining, engineering or science action.

* [1/24] Manpower action
     - Manpower: Personal Time(Moral Bonus?)

* [1/1] Recreational Commons
    Moral bonus

* [1/1] Group Activities (Team cobra special)
    Moral bonus

* Misc Manpower Needs
    - [2/2] Autopilot over watch : Optional
    - [3/3] Large Closed Loop Life support
    - [1/1] Dual Core Fusion Reactors

Hate to say, but we should have designed for this. Sunken domes in a low-lying sandy hillside... is a recipe for flash floods every time it rains.

Looking back, I'm actually wondering what the point with C&C domes is really. 10ebbor, wanna shed some light?

You will find digging, sealing and reinforcing completely underground domes will probably take more time.  Building above ground domes with as much protection as CCdomes would take more time and resources.  The prototype dome is pretty much secure from the water now that is built, even without the drainage system.  You just kinda got unlucky that heavy rains started while the pits were open but the domes were not done.

Ah, I see. So CC domes are about as much protection as armored domes I take it then. Guess we need to focus down drainage then.

Question : What tasks are trivial? Can we get our colony computer to control the Autopilot, Lifesupport and reactor? It controls the algae system, after all.

* [2/2] Medical Bay.
    -Wake Up Crew:wake 2 more people this month to compensate for scheduling snafus

Why 2? We can wake up 3.

Quote
[1/1] VR CAD
    - Engineering slot:Design water filtration facility(+20 Natalia, +10 New World)

Why?

Quote
Multi-Chemical Production Facility 4 RU Size 1 Mass 2 1 MW-10 MW
This system can synthesize a variety of chemicals from gas, liquid and solid inputs thanks to being watched over by chemical expert systems.  Oxygen and water can be produced in addition to others.  Simple reactions will take as little as 1 MW energy and produce 1 unit per turn.  More complex reactions will require more energy and may be much less productive.
        Must have purified versions of gas inputs and crushed/powdered material.
        Liquids can generally be filtered and sorted in the facility.  If dedicated to the purpose it can act as a water recycler.
        Can produce a variety of chemicals with varied energy cost and production speeds.
        Existing Expert systems can oversee 4 additional similar facilities if needed, minimal advanced parts needed to expand.  Additional units may be taken without expert systems at 2 RU Size 1 Mass 2.
        Advanced technology, requires advanced parts and repairs at -10.
        Labor intensive (for an advanced technology), 1 manpower for manual input and collection, 1 manpower for oversight.

We have this already. It filters nicely.

Oh, right. Now I'm not sure what engineering project to do. Hrm....

Ohhh, I know, a mineral processing facility! Basically something more robust than a simple ore processor, one that can also perform geological studies as well as mineral assays. We can build an add-on to the factory dome and install it there!

Edit:I'm now actually wondering if I should switch the colony computer bonus over to the mineral processing, since if we get that done we can start getting all these tailings processed

Well, I do think you stacked sufficient support on the drainage project.
