((I'll sprite the scene using the "normal" sprites sometime later; this alone took half a day to make due to how complicated the apartment's geometry has become! So many explosions!))
The Danmaku streams start making contact with the garrison, reacting violently with the wood and concrete walls, causing several explosions; if the guardsman shot by the Tatarstian soldier didn't die then, the shrapnel and concussive force of the blasts were more than enough to finish the job as he ragdolled into a heap. The sniper above him was not phased in the slightest by this withering fire, however, and obliterates the remaining kedama of the sky force with a well-aimed lasgun beam, causing strange energies and bits of the creature to rain down bellow. The main body of the fairies' wave of danmaku was primed to make contact any moment, along with the artillery shell launched from the far back flower howitzer. Those that could take the moment discard the silly festive hats that inexplicably appeared upon their heads, with the exception of the topmost scout who didn't seem to mind the added warmth it gave versus the massive air currents being generated by the dropship above her.
Portions of the ground force notice the sound of an energized explosion; the gunchaun inside takes a moment to look at where the strange being that materialized earlier stood, taken entierly by surprised and confused by the ordeal. Calla emerges from the pillowfort after it becomes clear that the Tatarstians aren't interested in harming her, spectating at the battle going on outside, with the tanks weaving and turning to avoid getting splashed by the bullet wave from above; though a single bullet would hardly be threatening even to their roof armor, it still marred the armor and would necessitate later repairs.
At the front, the crew of the disabled light tank managed to evacuate their roasted vehicle as the medium tank gets closer to the structure; its earlier danmaku salvo makes contact with the enemy position and surpresses them with an additional large explosion.
