"It does not behoove someone of your stature to be so chatty, servant, and you answer with all the specificity of a filthy Frenchman. Now bugger off sharpish or I may have to contemplate what to inflict upon you for such impertinence!"

Wuffwich takes stock of his immediate surroundings on his own, the peasantry having proven utterly useless as always.

The Servant take humble bow show your Authority still ring true

It is Urban City that hold you assume use your scholarly mind about 4000- 5000 people(Out of character: True historical  number of York at this time is 5000)

I start stumbling around, looking for someone who can tell me where I am, Maybe I should check a church for the details?

The good chistan socialist you are, You went to place call worth the mass

The Priest see and give a humble speech "Ah, you quite unwashed and weak, I good christian will help you out"

What do you said to the priest

Find a shop to buy some cheap porridge or something.

you eat it and I think what do something else, Like hunter for example you know your job

Sven wanders into the Lord Court, somewhat disappointed that no duels are on offer. He looks around idly at the people there, watching cases being dealt with, trying to see if anyone seems especially rich and in need of a hired blade, in need of a mighty defender against injustice, or if the crowd inside feels anyone particularly evil or ugly has gotten away with something they shouldn't have. He checks to see if the Lords might pay to have anyone thrown out, and takes a special interest in any cases that might involve large sums of money or important people.

In short, he looks for trouble.

((By the way, no need to send PMs when updates are done, most people can check unread posts to find it reasonably often))

Anne saw the guards moving, and ran off the estate, because there was a chance for her to be free.

There's no way I could afford that. "Fifteen shillings? Do you think I'm a lord? I'll give you half a penny for this and no more." I try to haggle with the porridge seller.

Whare am I?
What year is this?

From out the confessional wanders Wuffwich, looking incredibly important if momentarily confused. He examines the strange traveler currently bothering Father Aethelbrad. Looks like a bloody foreigner, he does.

"Ah, a foreigner! How are you finding York, my son? Lovely city, mouthy servants aside."

I grumble and hand over 90 pence. After quickly eating the porridge, I leave and ask around about places to hunt. Is there any free land near the city or is it all owned by lords?

"Let's not mince words. Will you employ me? When there's violence to be done, I'll stand ready to do it with a clear mind and sharpened axe."

Sven rests his hand on the shaft of the massive Dane Axe strapped across his back, and waits for the Frisian to find the words to reply.

"A Jewish knight? What an absurd thing to even consider."

Bishop Wuffwich thinks a moment, considering this incredibly shaky excuse.

"Your story does appear to check out, my good man. You have the look of someone with massive head trauma. We must inform the lord of the land of this Jew brigand, however! Do you remember what the motherless heathen looked like?"
