Not much I can do and my job's done. I guess that if I have any chance of swaying the higher ups, then I'll try to convince whoever is on the other side of that officers transmission to send some forces here. Or some CAS, at least. Exfiltrate afterwards.

Is anyone still alive with me? If so, tell them to throw a grenade up there since I'm out.

Hawk132:
You board the aircraft with your squadmate and the HVT. No sense trying to talk to someone else's CO. The aircraft takes off, and you find yourself literally observing a city on fire. Explosions rock all over, and there is hardly a second that a gunshot doesn't pass. The aircraft takes you up into the clouds, and then further, to the carrier. Your pilot docks onto the carrier, and you step out with the HVT and your squadmate.

Twinwolf:
"Get a fucking grenade up there!" you yell, pointing at the top of the stairs. A teammate runs to the other side of the stairs, and whips a grenade up. It blows, and you hear the enemies shouting and screaming.

Peek out; if I can see enemies, and they aren't looking, fire. Duck back into cover if they raise a weapon.

"Good work out there. It's a shame about the rest of our squad though."

Take the HVT to where I need to bring him.

Twinwolf:
You peek out from the corner with your weapon raised. There's an enemy slowly getting up off the ground, and you put two shots into him. Another comes running into view to grab his fallen comrades, and you drop him with a shot to the head.

Hawk132:
"Hey Dix, good work back there. Too bad about Care and Torp though." you say to your squad member, Dix, who nods.

An officer approaches you. "Hell of a job back there boys, we only really needed one of 'em."

"Roger that, sir. I have a question," you say, "there's a lot of guys on the ground right now that were fighting to get us out. They're doing pretty good right now, but I think they're surrounded. Any chance we have of getting them out?"

"Well," he replies, "we're inserting demo teams into their area to clean up their assets so we can mow them down with close air support and smartbombs. You guys want in on that?"

"They did save our asses. I owe them. What about you, Dix?"

Once more unto the breach.

Hawk132:
You're heading to ground in a small troop transport, with two reserve SF troopers assigned to your squad. You've been named squad leader. As you come into the surface of the planet, along with several other transports very similar, you begin to take light AA fire. Your pilot swerves and dives to avoid it, and you hit the ground with ease. As you hop off the transport, you give him a thumbs up. The street you've landed on is empty and very quiet.

Carefully and stealthily move towards our objective.

Hawk132:
Your aircraft lifts high into the sky, and out of sight. You pull up your wrist map, which tells you your objective is a few blocks up. You move up the street, sticking to the sides of the buildings. About halfway there you stop. You can hear a vehicle moving in your direction.

If we have anti-armor capabilities - prepare an ambush. If we have no AT - evade the vehicle somehow.

Hawk132:
"Hey, uh..." you try to remember the name of one of the reserve units assigned to you. He raises his head. "Yeah, you. Lay a det-strip on the road. There's something coming. Dix, take the other guy and set up across the street. We're here to take out assets, so that's just what we'll do."

Dix nods and takes the new guy to a position across the street while the rookie with the explosives sets up charges. The buildings rise high on each side of the street, and a sky-bridge connects two skyscrapers further up the street. The rookie finishes setting the charges just as the vehicle comes into view. It's a lightning with a skyguard attachment to thwart aircraft. Taking it out would be essential to the landing.

//Gonna be bringing this back, will message those on the reserve list.

Once the Lightning is on the det-strip, blow it up sky high. Then proceed to eliminate any infantry that might have come with it, if any.
