However I needed, to get my now more accurate suspiscions, to look at all your activity and draw conclusions about what our most active player wasn't doing.
I'm going to take issue with this for a few reasons, I think some of which I've mentioned before.
Firstly, I can't do everything. I can't question everyone in the game because I'll end up forgetting what questions I've asked which people, get mixed up or forget why I asked the questions in the first place. Also, I'm not going to notice everything in terms of suspicious behaviour. Tomasque
said earlier that the rest of us are noticing things that he had missed about ATH and Roo, which is why it's not so good if one person
is questioning everyone, because their attention is split between 8 people and they cannot possibly notice every little thing.
Secondly, you seem to be doing what you accuse me of doing (or not doing
) on D1, namely focusing on one person for scumhunting, asking other people what they think about that, and not looking anywhere else.
the way I went from the evidence to the accusation of scumminess was poor, the evidence selection wasn't great, but the actual scumminess was real, I believe.
I'm... not sure what you're trying to say here. If you don't think the evidence you used was great to exemplify to other people that I'm scum, why aren't you looking for more, better evidence..? If you
are convinced I'm scum, beyond a doubt, you should be pushing everyone else toward lynching me. You won't do that if you believe the evidence you've gathered so far is rubbish.
However, if you think he did discredit me majorly in a chainsaw defence, well... what do I actually do now? As this requires me asking you if you think he's your scumpartner
It wasn't so much as that's what I thought he was doing (at least on the major discrediting of you part) but rather something you should be considering. Townies don't know who the other townies are, so have no reason to come out and defend someone like that.
You just seem convinced of my guilt, and there are two scum in the game. If you think I'm scum, then by association anyone who thinks I'm town, and goes so far in defending me, should be hugely suspect.
If I get lynched and flip town, TDS is going to say "I was defending a townie! I must be town!" whereas if he gets lynched and flips scum, you can say "Scum was defending Hector! He must be scum!"
It's a fairly simple scum tactic, sowing confusion amongst the town.
