And yeah, we already have a mage aka my character. That doesn't mean your character won't get in, it just means that you're filling a spot that's already being filled. Going monk (still a magic user but uses light magic instead) would fill a gap though

Yeah, that's what I was thinking would be a good idea. The base stats might be better for dodging all those hits that are going to instantly kill me as well.

Just going to note, for purposes of backstory, the monk class more means light magic user, religious affiliation optional.

* SC holsters the smoking gun.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with using Paint. Hell, Paint is easy. I use Paint, and then just add transparency in GIMP.

Yeah, I'd actually probably tend to agree for the most part but Gimp has some shiny little tricks that can be helpful. Like layers.

Partly because it felt a bit game-y to have it at 0%, partly because getting more constitution from nature spirits tempted by gambling spirit. Though it really is pointless as a monk.

It's not at all gamey, lol. Everyone does it. The only time you really want to have more growth in your off stat is if you're
a) mixed growths so use magic and phys stuff
b) gimmick build

Or if you have the personal skill (Imbue/Center) that heals HP every turn based on the stat you're not using. That's a good reason too.

Unless that counts under b, in which case ignore me.

Bio: The third of five sons of a great Scordati pirate lord, Cúrua knew from an early age that he was unlikely to ever inherit much from his father, not least because he lacked the brute strength to gain respect among his father's men. Instead, he learned the ways of Svetlid from the local priests, as well as how to channel the god's might while on raids or defending the family fortress against rival Scordati. His ability to avoid harm on the battlefield soon had the men seeing him as a good luck charm, and it seemed that he would one day have a ship of his own to command.

All that would change when his father died soon after Cúrua's seventeenth birthday. This was not entirely surprising, as he had been ill for some time beforehand. The shock came when Floki, his eldest brother, died at a feast not five days later. The healers declared it a natural death in spite of the strange shade of green that Floki had turned, and his younger brother Rognvald took the throne. Cúrua doubted that his brother would be happy to keep any challengers to his power to stick around and immediately asked the new lord for permission to spread the faith of Svetlid in the barbarous south. Rognvald happily agreed; Scordati missionaries were normally killed by vengeful merchants in any case. Cúrua took off before his brother could do anything to ensure his failure, stowing away aboard a merchant ship that was foolish enough to come close to their fortress rather than risk taking a family boat.

Cúrua found that the further south he travelled, the less hostile people were to his words, though he was a lot more successful working as a mercenary than as a missionary. Eventually, he took a short term job defending the fortress of Carn against Pahravanit and struck up a friendship with the commander. When he was offered a permanent place at the fortress, Cúrua agreed to stay.

Only real issue is that Meteor is a cost skill, so you have 30% more growths than you should

Well I don't see anything wrong with it and backstory is quite quite :V

I will wait till end of current Chapter to see if anyone else gets finished sheet to me (if not then your entry is basically secured).
