Defy expectations and remember the table top axiom of old: we stand with the gm, not against.

Could have been worse.  Could have been a warning of a third party coming to execute both sides: the prince's brother ("Alas, we were too late to rescue my dear brother.  Rest assured, however, for I shall live on and avenge him.").

So... anyone have a plan for what I should do with Vera?

I'm wondering if going to heal Alice might be best, since I don't really need the healing right now.  You've already taken a few hits, but a Vulnerary can fix that.  The concern I have is that you'd have to cut through the shallow forests to make it in time, which would reduce your EVA by 10 when it's already a coin flip.

EDIT:
Actually, I don't think it'll change anything.  It doesn't alter any of the effects, but it looks like Haspen is rolling both deep forests and regular forests as +20 EVA if I'm reading the combat rolls correctly.

Actually, a vuln might not help; it only heals 10 HP, bringing Vera back to 12 when the riders do 13, and the only reason they didn't one-shot her is due to the defense bonus of the deep forest.

Deep forests don't have a defense bonus.  You're right about the 13 damage, though; do you want me to Vuln you as well?  That would put you over the threshold.

Hm. That could work, but it then Lizbeth would be in danger, too, unless they all decided to go after Vera.

EDIT: Nevermind, she'd be able to get in a forest anyway.

OK.  I'll keep reducing the numbers of enemies we face for now, then, but keep close enough that I can vuln you in case they do connect.

Twin, I'd suggest hopping to the other side of the prince and healing Alice instead. She's been downed longer and if you're not careful, the wyverns could cut you off from her. The prince is in a more exposed position as well, making it more likely he'll get downed again on the EP

Edit: Right, Gig is there. Gig, I'd suggesting letting twin take that spot instead.

Uhhhh probably too much for you as a trainee. But I was thinking more along the lines of you vulning yourself since you're two hits away from dying? I dunno. I mean, this would probably work if you and Culise both hit, it's just kinda risky.

3.  Either holding position to attack F or moving to Vuln yourself could work.

Apropos of nothing, Vera's movement means that I'm now moving east to keep the group together.  Short of a lucky hit, it would require at least two attacks (three hits) to take down Rider E, and I'm not inclined to be lured southward too far and lose the Daunt/Charisma coverage.

Yeah, vulning was my plan, I was just wondering if I could make it into dark forest. Couldn't remember if it was 3 or 2.
