Why both, for Team Fine Dining.  It shall be a rousing tale about the march of the Prince and his entourage of cooks as they seek out the finest ingredients and the legendary lost recipe of Lyonesse, with a taste said to be able to bring tears of joy to the eyes of the Skyfather himself, in order to confirm the Prince's claim to the throne.  Their adversaries: the only other Prince and his fallen chefs, their once-prodigious abilities tainted by the demonic arts of the vile short-order chef, sacrificing taste upon the twin altars of time and cost, who seek out the lost recipe to debase it and mass-market inferior copies, ruining the palates of the world forever (DUN DUN DUN!).

I am being distinctly reminded of Toriko right now.

Sorry about the double-post, but I have created something similar to a mug for my character:

Is it too small? I bet it's too small.

I gave it another try and I think this one should be at least slightly better, since the head positioning in Louise's mug should fit Isadora's body at least a bit better than Limstella's did. I hope.

It's not terrible but a lot of your shading is really off, you have at least two different skin tones in there (one around the eyes, one for the rest), and the body is pretty small for the head, yeah. Plus a real skinny long neck and some angle issues.

Deidei: Something feels slightly off. I think it's the angle of the head/neck? The angle of the head doesn't match the body I think. Plus the shoulders are real broad for a smaller head.

Deidei: trying moving the head a pixel or two to the left ;v Also lack of visible neck guard due to hair might skewer the looks, too.

Hatkitty was mostly right. The positioning of the head was the major issue. The body does look better a bit slimmed down though, and there was a fourth shade of color in the hair that you had missed plus some minor shading issues on the body. The hair creates shading that wasn't there before, etc. Here's my attempt at fixing?

I dunno, but you should probably focus on getting a character sheet as opposed to if you're a newbie or not.

I've moved his neck a pixel down, and widened it by a pixel. I also appear to have fixed the skin color. I don't know how to fix the angling and head size, though.

Honestly, I'd suggest just working with splices at first. You may have done that, but it's hard to tell. Making any major alterations is real hard and even I still struggle with it.

* Swordstar shrugs

Here's an attempt I made:

I did do splices- The hair at the back was about the only thing that I drew.

Now his collar is red, as it should be. I am very grateful you did him yourself, though.

Either this one is alright or my perception has become worse: I don't have the gut feeling something is wrong this time!  :P
Anyone want to take bets whether FEF can get my posts per day above 1?
