So, how do we want to tackle this map? The prevailing idea in the IRC at the moment is to retreat to just the edge of the map, where the green line is, and then try our hand at fighting. If things go bad, we book it out of the map.

So I guess the first few turns will be us moving east, while trying to provide cover for our NPCs who move out of sync with us (after the enemies).

you all laugh at galen now but when he eventually gains his confidence through arbitrary plot-like moments and starts summoning monsters you won't think it's very funny
