Yeah, there isn't really "dibs" on any class as it turns out. Healers especially are useful to have multiple of. We also don't have any performers, etc.

You can still apply, you know. It's not guaranteed- or even particularly likely- my sheet will be accepted, and like Swordstar said, healers are always useful.

Very okay! You'll typically have a better chance at getting in than a vet because we're always looking to introduce the game to more people.

Edit: Also, echoing what Sword said. Pick a class that interests you, people can fuss out the tactics later. Don't stress about it.

Yeah, VRFEF right now is almost half lances. Class imbalance is not a huge concern.

Here's the mug I have for now.

I'm aware that it needs some fixing, but it doesn't seem too bad, right?

I think it looks good. I like the subtle design at the edge of the hood. Going assassin? cause of the white hood and everything :p

Huh. I'll have to wait for pastebin to return before I make an executive decision, but that does sound pretty great. Even if sand maps aren't relatively common, the extra movement could come in handy. Especially if they also come with Canto and bows to soften up the enemy before everyone else arrives.

There will be between 4-6 sandy chapters in FEF5, or at least I will try to make as many.

Personally I would give them a minor evasion bonus against riders, since the smell of camels scares horses.

GENIUS!

List edited.

Also, Haspen, you mentioned that the characters are probably guards/retainers/friends/etc. of one of the Arvardian princes. Does the Arvardian royal family have a church/temple/whatever the places of worship of the Cult of Skyfather are called in the castle?

There is of course a shrine for the spiritually-inclined, sure, but like most of the Empire the Royal Family is atheist.

Ah, so that line about how common it was meant that of the 1/6 of the empire that worship the Skyfather, 2/3 of them actively worship. For some reason I thought it meant that 2/3 of the empire actively worship.

Regardless, would it be possible for Vera to have been "given" to that shrine for training as a young girl and grow up in the castle, and perhaps make friends with whichever prince will be the NPC Lord?
