It' not a ritual object, According to the sheets the school sent me, its a mana battery that powers the spells that hold me together...

according to the sheets, it could be made of any thing, the runes are all that
matter, the ones on this hold the spells that give me life, inscribe the spells
used to create your computer and... do you get the idea..?
