Jason decides to just sit and play with demon fire. who said playing with fire was bad? he see's it as the most fun thing to do

Alan, from behind, feels a sudden increase of temperature, hears fire noises, and instinctively summons water on it.

Lieselotte instinctively shies away from the fire.

Alan, following off of his attempt at extinguishing the fire, spins around to actually see the source and incidentally ends up closer to Lieselotte than he was before, before realizing that it's Jason being a fool and sort of shoving Jason's magic with his own to hopefully disrupt it.
"What.  Are.  You.  Doing.  Seriously, playing with fire will only get you burned.  And set off fire alarms which we do not want."
