Walter didn't blame Ruya for not looking directly at him -- maybe there was weird magic stuff involved, maybe he was shy; Walter didn't want to judge. Then another person spoke.
"Oh, I'm Walter!"
Isla responded too.
"My name is Isla Dubh. I've been here for a couple of years."

Minako is still watching Walter curiously.

[SOLDIER First]

After a moment, Ruya elects to speak. "Thorry about the... the lithp, by the way. I have thethe big fangth and..."
He trails off somewhat awkwardly.

Walter smiled nervously at Minako, shrugging lightly.

[Sanure]

A white orb has begun floating behind Minako.

Shen walks out from his assigned dorm, lacking a shirt with a towel draped over his shoulders.

Lydia, after saying goodbye to Jason, walks over to Teresha (with a brief glance at Shen).
"So, uh, what do you need done?"

Minako is now distracted by white orb. Shiny.
Lieselotte facepalms at Minako.

[Sanure]

"Sister, Can you please resume your material form? You're distracting Minako."

The shiny white orb backs away some and Sefia reappears in her material form, "No fun, brother."

Lydia, after saying goodbye to Jason, walks over to Teresha (with a brief glance at Shen).
"So, uh, what do you need done?"

Teresha turns to Lydia.
"So, what filter should I use?

"I, umm... what are the filters? Can you flick through them? Not a big user of that sort of thing anymore. You can probably guess why."

Minako pouts, but returns to watching Walter.

Teresha realizes this, and then comes up with another question.
"Ohhh.... Well then, do you think the photo's pretty?"

"It's... okay? I'm not really the best judge, but could you just flick through the filters? I can give an opinion on them."

Walter tugs at his collar lightly and shoots a pleading look in Lieselotte's direction (from what he had seen, Lieselotte had some sort of influence over Minako, maybe).
Isla, meanwhile, sat against the wall somewhat stiffly.
