He barely opens his mouth before he shuts it, apparently thinking better of what he was about to say, but a sort of strangled "mp" sneaks out.
He seems to not have really noticed the Minotaur.

Alan rushes through a hastily-put-together jumble of words in a very...abashed fashion.
"Uh I was kind of starting to say something but then I thought maybe I shouldn't and then uh yeah uh maybe I was I don't know?"

"Extraordinary could be a word you're looking for, maybe? Not ordinary but better than normal...?"

"I didn't quite hear that. My hearing is quite off sometimes, dealing with Minako."

It's clear Lieselotte didn't quite catch the hidden meaning of 'like', judging from her confused expression.

And then it hits Alan why Lieselotte and Minako are such good friends.
