"Who knows? Everyone here looks pretty nice, though."

Alan hears the dog-eared girl and processes that for a moment.
"Except maybe that guy, no offense." (indicating Zacherus)

"He looks pretty cute. Not in the lovey way. You know, like you think plushies are cute?"

No offence taken, people mistake me all the time for looking older then I am...

The woman nods approvingly, smiling, then coughs to stifle any more talking.
"Now, it looks like there's been a slipup. I'm just going to sort you all into your dorms, then you'll have your assemblies at different times later this morning. The Headmistress is a little busy with some parents. I'm sure you understand."
She produces a sheet of paper.
"Everyone listening? If I say your name, please come forward and I'll lead you to your dormitory. The rest of you, please wait here and I'll be back in a minute. Okay?"

The man shakes his head in a slow nod

"Sure"

Alan waits patiently and attentively.

"Ok." the twins say, in unison again.

Ruya wonders why she stopped talking and hasn't started on the names.

The dog-eared girl seems impatient, but she nods. The quiet blue-haired girl next to her nods silently.

The lady proceeds to read the names of everyone except the PCs.
Joy.
Then she doublechecks their names. Thankfully it's quite a small group for such a big school, as people arrive all throughout the first week. Still, it takes about four minutes before she leads them off.
