So just tell from the way they move? or should I purchase a skin to make it clearer?

You don't really need a skin to see anything, AFAIK. There should be an option in the replay viewer thing that allows you to see what is contracting/extending/relaxing/etc. You can also visually notice it, since each movement visibly alters the joint thats moving, with each look corresponding to a contraction, an extention, etc.

in the replay, click the dummy you want to examine and it should pause and throw you into a "play mode" where you can view the joints. thats how i did it at least

I tried playing this game once. I bashed (no pun intended) my head against the wall of a learning curve, fell over, and never woke up.
That's not enough to stop at puns, that's a literal thing.

Boxshu(mushu-in-a-box)v3, Mushu, Twinswords, Aikido. That's all what i could do right now(through i got some mushu moves that could be used in ninjutsu(o), and i am only good at kick openers in aikido(altrough i do combine them with something else)).
Twohandedmagician mod is... where you could explode your enemy or yourself.
AAAaah God. Just had the funniest tourney.

I was beaten in the first turn, after taking down a second dan black belt, as a brown belt kicked my leg off. Kinda fluke. THen a green belt somehow lucked past another semifinalist brown belt, who had formerly beaten a black. Then the snarky brown finalist went up against the green, and, due to the brown launching back at him, beat him after falling behind on points at the start. THere was even a second launch by the brown belt, which he failed to get enough points off. SO the green won a 500 tc tourney, with two browns, two black belts, and a second dan in the mix  :P

:,-) Completely hilarious. A couple of weird people, me included, were going nuts on chat by the final , amazed at the dumb luck, profails and general madness, and the brown got completely wound up, so pissed off he lost. Funniest shit ever.

I would have paid 500 tc to see it happen.

Oh, and then someone called Black_Goku, evidently famous, came in, which was another kind of weird.
Do you play that tourney in Boxshu?

Meeting famous people isn't hard; iirc our very own Shook is a bit of a Toribash legend :v

I should play this game more, since I'm not actually that bad at it.

Not sure if Black_Goku was famous, he just seemed to be at the time, could have been someone reacting to a ninth dan.

I may have seen the number 1 worldwide once in some random public server, not fully sure. He seemed pretty on top of things, iirc.

That's what I like about Toribash, it isn't always that competitive.

Also, anyone want to play now, a b12 christmas eve toribash night or something? I have free time till breakfast tomorrow, and feel I could forgo a little sleep. 'Tis the season after all... should I start a bay12 server?

I'm in bed, so sadly no :(

Somebody should make a mobile version of Toribash. If you extended the turn times a lot it could even maybe work...

Sumotori. It's nearly the same.

Win over players that are already rank 0(which Godbelts usually do/did),and/or something else i don't know, but exploits the rank system.
