She considered where the ogre's corpse had disappeared.

"Hm... are we forgetting something..." FlyingHigh mutters to herself, before snapping her fingers as she remembers. "Peter."

She rides over to Peter. "Need some help?"

Xoddahs grunted as he watched the ogre expire, flexing his fingers.

"I did too." He sounded disappointed.

Peter groaned a frustrated curse.
:"Fuuuuuuuuck."
:"Please."

"Get on, then." She says, scooting a bit forward on her Pegasus.

"I'll take that heal, if you don't mind. That wolf bite is starting to itch."

Xoddahs grunted as he watched the ogre expire, flexing his fingers.

"I did too." He sounded disappointed.

"You sound disappointed. Surely this is a good thing, so you do not run of risk of encountering a terminal error?"

"I'll take that heal, if you don't mind. That wolf bite is starting to itch."

"Of course."

She tapped him with the heal staff, mending his wounds.

"'Terminal error?' I'm going to guess you're a programmer who's REALLY obsessed with coding."

"Oh, I apologise. I meant he had less risk of making a fatal mistake. While I have been involved with programming, I'm not really a coder myself."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I didn't mean anything! We all have our hobbies; I just didn't think I'd run into someone who actually spoke like that."

He chuckled to himself for a few moments.

"Then again, where do I get off telling people how to speak? I make a living writing things like 'the penthouse balcony overlooked a busy city impossibly far below, as if emphasizing how insignificant the everyday bustle of life was to his wealthy client.'"

Stein paused.

"I wouldn't actually have written the 'wealthy' part if I were working on a novel, but I thought for a random clip it needed the qualifier."

"I must admit I have not spoken to many people, so it's a learning experience for me."

She cocked her head slightly, interested in what he was saying.

"You are an author?"

Stein nodded.

"Louis Copeland. I'm a noir detective author. I wrote the Sam Mercer trilogy; I was hoping to make it a series but I've been suffering writer's block for awhile now."

After a moment, he sighed.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't heard of them. I never cracked the Top 50 best sellers. They're making movies out of the three of them, though. The adaptation of What Sister Abigail Saw should be out in... what month is it, again? Well... by the end of the year, anyway."

"We should probably head out. If we wait too long they might respawn. Don't know about you all, but I'd rather not be here when they do."

Ignoring her low health, she started to head towards their destination.

"I have not heard of them myself, but they must have been quite good if they are being converted to film format."
