Xoddahs waited as Sol moved into the cave, waiting for a few moments. "More wolves?" The shaman called into the cave, peering into the gloom.

"Guess not, or we'd be attacked by now. Anything interesting, Sol?"

"I got this gauntlet thing. I might get it for my self, seems like it would give me more armor."

"You sure? I checked all over town last time we were in one and the prevailing thing I could see is that wearable armor doesn't seem to be a thing in this game. Check its stats, does it give defense?" Xoddahs asked Sol, curious.

If there was armor in this game, but towns just don't sell it, then the shaman is very confused. Maybe it does something else? The shaman fiddles around with using perception before he can get a good look at Sol.

"Hmm... Unless I'm seeing it wrong, it gives... Con?" Xoddahs grunted and opened up a help window for a quick search. "Helps offset the weight of heavy weapons. I wouldn't honestly have figured a gauntlet of all things would do that."

There's visible ellipses as Sol checks the gauntlet.
"... What the fuck? Welp, this is useless to me. You want it?"

"Yeah, that would be pretty handy. Game warned that dark tomes were heavy when I picked this class so extra Con should help offset that."

Sol shrugs trades the gauntlet to Xohddahs.

"Thanks. I'll put these to good use. I'll keep an eye out if I find something that raises defense. Not sure what that would look like though."

"Anyway, seems like the others are in another scrap. Let's bail them out."

Xoddahs accepts the trade and moves to [6,6], using the Gauntlet.

Root moves to (9, 6) and uses a Vulnerary to weather any bat assaults.
