Myzen grunted as he carefully approached Xoddahs; the shaman was definately going down this turn but Myzen'd be there to save him on the next.

Peter let out a miserable sigh after Sol spoke.
:"Hey, Sol, look, I'm in the same boat. Immersing myself in a little fantasy world here was my plan for dealing with some of my own stuff. But since things went down the shitter here, there's a fact that's staring me right in the face: we can't afford to do that, not now. Because we could die. And I'll... probably pick the RP back up with someone, at some point, but right now I just want to be alive. Can't RP if I'm dead, can't enjoy anything if I'm dead, and the things that I love (slash the things that stress me out) are fucked if I'm dead too. So we've both just got to keep our eyes open and save this sort of thing for later. Once we've got things figured out, yeah?"

The wolves attack in force. The Alpha attacks first, leaping at Xoddahs. The great beast clamps his jaws down around the shaman's chests, sinking in its jaws with a brief burst of virtual blood. Undaunted, Xoddahs lets out a bark of laughter, and cloaks his fist in dark magical energy before punching the beast in the eye. The beast lets out a yelp and drops Xoddahs. Half blinded by the mage's counter attack, the wolf snaps at him again, but Xoddahs evades the beast's jaws the second time.

Xoddahs bounced on his feet with his hands up defensively, a rusted grin splitting his face as he took in his situation. Stone to his back and sides blocking any retreat or safety, and an angry beast larger than him blocking the way forward hellbent on killing him.

"Now THIS is what I'm talking about! The tension! The risk!"

The shaman clinched his fist and his legs tensed in preparation.

"And the victory!"

Xoddahs charged the wolf and went all out, TOZing the wolf with his fist.
