Circuit debated saying yes, but her translation software had recieved poor reviews, so a native speaker could discover her deception. Hmm. An idea formed. Humans often formed an attachment towards protecting a less capable human.

"Ah... no. My body is incapable, and so I have not had much experience with communication with people; it seems I have difficulty with metaphor."

"As it happens, we're going that way - our destination is Wendamere. Want to tag along, at least until we catch up with your friends?"

"Sorry, that's not gonna work for me. My friends are still waiting in Genesis, and if at all possible I'd like to get them classed up before we get to Wandermere, and you guys are probably gonna sink most of the EXP. You're a pretty big group, afterall. Thanks for the offer though! Maybe some other time."

Stein laughed it off with a nonchalant gesture.

"My bad. I thought you were going the same way as us. Maybe we'll run into each other sometime down the line."

Damnation. It would have been a lot easier... Guess there's nothing for it.

"Now that we got a few levels under our belts, we'll probably fair better. Best of luck with your friends, maybe we'll meet up later." Xoddahs shrugged, not too heartbroken that the extra healer couldn't tag along. This was their first taste of actual combat, after all, and now that they have some levels things should go better.

"Right, so. Should we press on, or gain a few more levels?" The shaman asked the group, pushing for a decision. He obviously seemed to favor the former, grimacing at the idea of grinding. Xoddahs decided on keeping the question out of guild chat for K1ara's benefit, but also mostly because that was a tab away and he was lazy. Truly apathy is the greatest motivator.

"If we're really going ironman on this game, I'd rather be on our way."

The ironman line was also for K1ara's benefit.

And so, the group moved on, pressing toward the next town, and ever closer to the exit. The mountains, and by extension Death Pass, looming in the distance drew ever closer, and clouds began to roll in overhead. A light rain begins to fall, but the experience is hardly realistic- the rain doesn't soak the players clothes, or even dampen them, and the weight of the rain is nonexistent, as though they were walking through mist instead of rain.

As the players close in on Death Pass, bats and wolves emerge from caves and hidey holes in the mountain side.

7, 21 and prep for the assault.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

"After what happened in the last fight? I don't know..." Root Node certainly remembers how much 'down time' they had.

Move to (10, 18).
