A hand slid to his face as Peter abandoned his act, spitting out a bitter curse, before looking upwards.
:"...fuck. Fuck you, how does that count?!"
He let out a long sigh, and drummed his fingers on the table while he tried to figure out what to say. He ended up dropping his voice so there was no chance of being overheard.
:"Right... I'm... I'm sorry to have to explain this, but... the thing about being trapped here? The life and death, it's... ...well... if any of us die, we won't respawn, we'll -- fuck, we'll die, basically. It's a terrible situation, and... and I'm sorry the programmer did this to you, but we're going to work together to get you out of this as fast as possible, alright?"

Hajime immediately opens the menu and slams the log out button.

Watching Hajime, Peter opens his mouth, then finds himself closing it again, lapsing into an awkward silence.

He stops, a look of panic overtaking him.
Hajime then inhales through his nose and exhales from his mouth, and looks at Peter and Riona with determination.

"We share a burden now. The same curse plaguing you has been inflicted on me, but I know you did not do this intentionally, and you are forgiven."

"This is not a simple matter. You say we must complete our quest and the curse will lift... Such a task will take long.. a very long time. But I know if we all work as one and pool our strength, we will succeed."

His words are confident even though his voice is somewhere in the area of "imminent emotional breakdown".

Well, Sol and I are at the bar. I'm not sure where everyone else is. Oh, and for the record, don't bother with the bar. The drink tastes like water with a vaguely terrible aftertaste and it doesn't even have any buffs or debuffs.
