Might want to spoiler CPU intensive JPEGS and images in general.

Amusingly my browser froze up for a few seconds at the exact moment that ENEMY TURN flashed onto the gif.

Panther vs Firestarter, it looks like. I wouldn't have alpha striked as the Panther if I'd just been toasted with all those flamers... not to mention the PPC and its inaccuracy at point blank.

I think this version makes the Flamers do both heat AND damage.

MMM yes, that punch looks sufficiently punchy for a giant robot. I approve.

Enemy mech is definitely a Griffin, Panther doesn't have the missile pod on the shoulder and its head pokes out far more. Friendly one looks like a Shadowhawk.

Ah yes, you're right, I had missed the shoulder pod, and the image was jerking around while it was firing, so I thought the missiles were coming from the torso.

Then I laugh doubly at his foolishness, as LRMs are utter crap at point blank. :P

Does anyone write a summary of the interesting bits in these Q&A sessions for those of us who don't want to watch an hour-long video?

I made a small list with bullet points (just scroll back to my post).

Don't know if I will be able to do other Q&A's in the future, it took 3 hours to get it done.

Cheers, Meph, much appreciated. :)

I also updated the first post, adding links to all the Q&A's and I have added links to all the kickstarter update posts. If anything is broken, let me know.

Tr-tr-triple post! Before you release the hounds / gather the pitchforks / tar me up, know that I come bringing gifts! HBS has posted a new kickstarter update.

Spoiler: Bulletpoint Summary (click to show/hide)

PSA: As I'm currently struggling with illness, I will be able to provide a bullet-point summary of the new Q&A. Just don't expect it to be speedy. ;)

We haven’t finalized exactly how long the Beta will remain live, but it should be up for at least two months

Wait what? What does this mean? Like... two months and then the game is released? That is fast...

Or is it like... Two months and then you don't get to play it anymore

OR is it like Two months and then everyone can join in the beta through early access?

According to their Kickstarter rewards, the game is supposed to come out in May 2017. Whether or not it will actually release then, remains to be seen. I imagine that if it takes longer than May to finalize the game, that HBS will allow the Beta to go on for longer than that. THe beta won't become an open beta though.

It could also refer to the period which the open beta is updated? Like, after a couple months they do final polishing on a closed branch.
