Round 24: Blood on the Snow, Pt. 2
Location: Denmark, Wisconsin
Weather Conditions: Snowing (11.9 inches)
Time: Midnight

NAV takes out a single shining glass bottle of Altbier out from its case. "You can have your ten minutes after you reincarnate!" He runs at Hawk, holding the bottle high above his head. Hawk flips his gun around, holding it by the barrel while keeping the heavy stock pointed at NAV, "No, I'll have my ten minutes after I kill you." (7-1 vs. 9+2) Hawk waits for NAV to close in before swinging his gun downwards, aiming to use the end to break NAV's skull. Even though the Riot Gun is modern technology, dodging an improvised club is fundamental Ancient Warfare and second nature for the Kaurava; NAV sidesteps and the Riot Gun connects with nothing but air. NAV pulls his arm back and then launches forward with a vicious horizontal swing aimed at Hawk's face. (3+2 vs. 9-1) Hawk shuffles backwards and NAV's bottle goes nowhere. Frustrated, the Indian warrior smashes his bottle on the top of the police cruiser to improvise a stabbing weapon. (8) The outcome is one bottle coated in sharp serrated points; NAV waves it menacingly in Hawk's direction while the politician takes practice swings with his Riot Gun like a batter warming up before a pitch is thrown.

Abstract heads down to the tournament with a plan to win, after doing an entire montage worth of training. The tournament is being held in a community gym space where a wrestling circle has been set up. Abstract looks at his competitors who ranged from tiny speedsters known for their agility and flying attacks to the giants who look like they could break a grown man in half with one blow. And the crowd is spectacular, there are several dozens of citizens that had come to watch!
Round 1 - Opening Round: (3+2 vs. 1) Abstract's first opponents looks like he should worry more about trying to clear his acne before Senior Prom Night than winning a wrestling tournament. Within the first seconds, Abstract has him on the ground and twisting his arm. It's over without much effort.
Round 2 - Standard Round: (9+2 vs. 10) Abstract's next opponent lacks wrestling skill but makes up for it with sheer willpower. Even applying his best moves, Abstract is unable to take him down, and while he retains something of an advantage, it isn't much. (4+2 vs. 8+2) Later on, however, Abstract's opponent begins to fatigue and this allows Abstract to put him in really compromising positions, eventually Abstract is able to achieve a rear choke-hold. (6+2 vs. 10-1[Choking]) Even being choked for almost a minute, Abstract's opponent refuses to give up, thrashing about and pulling on his arms. The opponent eventually frees himself from Abstract's grip. (3 vs. 9+2) The man switches from a wrestling to a fighting style, which results in his downfall; he charges Abstract with what would be a clothesline, except Abstract jumps up and interrupts him with a dropkick to the face, knocking him out cold.
Round 3- Semi-Finals: Abstract's next opponent is an actual trained wrestler, "The Great Galipoli", a skinny almost gaunt man with deceptive power. (1+2 vs. 10+1) Abstract charges at Galipoli, but at the last second the nimble wrestler dives out of the way and Abstract's momentum carries him over the ropes and he goes flying onto the wooden floor. (6+1 vs. 7-2[Stunned]) Galipoli jumps off of the top rope and belly-flops onto Abstract, landing across his chest and knocking the wind out of him for the moment. (3+2-2 vs. 4+1) Abstract gropes for Galipoli, trying to perform a wrestling hold on him while he's still down, but Galipoli slips out of his grasp. (1+1 vs. 2+2-2) Galipoli stands up and kicks Abstract while he's down, but Abstract is unfazed by the half-hearted hit and gets to his feet, recovering from the previous assault. (10+2 vs. 3+1) Galipoli leaps at Abstract, but ATH is able to grab him in mid-air and spin him around before tossing him like a frzibee. Galipoli's back slams into the metal turnbuckle and he is sent seeing stars.
Round 4- Final Round: Abstract's final opponent is a proper rival, a retired pro wrestler by the name of 'Big Barrel Brad'. Even at the old (for a professional wrestler) age of 46, his 6'8, 290 pound frame still makes him a force to be reckoned with. (6+2 vs. 9+2) With all of his might, Abstract runs at Brad and punches him in the stomach, which fails to make any impact whatsoever. (8+2 vs. 7+2) Brad retaliates with a jab that sends Abstract reeling back, but he stays on his feet. (5+2 vs. 2+2) Abstract runs at Brad again, but before Brad can hit him, Abstract leaps to the side and kicks him in the shin. (4+2-1 vs. 3+2) Brad grunts in pain and kicks at Abstract with his unhurt leg, which misses Abstract's face by inches. (7+2 vs. 1+2-1) Abstract leaps up into the air and hits Brad in the face with a flying drop kick which sends the giant onto his back with a resounding smashing sound on the wrestling mat. (9+2 vs. 10+2-1-2) Abstract goes for the pin, and by the count of '2', Brad is starting to move around, but it is too little too late; Abstract holds the pin for the final second and finishes the match.
Abstract wins the tournament! +$150, +Green Bay Amateur Wrestling Championship Belt
It is too early for Abstract to go on a date with Autumn, her shift doesn't end until later, but he does plan to tell her about his exciting victory.
With his $150, Abstract begins campaigning for local office. (2+2) Abstract buys and prints $150 worth of poster material and begins displaying them around town. While this helps to spread his image, it is only after examining the final poster that he puts up that Abstract realizes he forgot to put his name on them.

While Person is trying to stop the bleeding from his neck wound, Greatness lunges forward with one free hand and attempts to rip the PPsh-Sub Machine Gun out of his hands. (5 vs. 2+2) Greatness slaps Person on the fingers, hard, instinctively causing his hand to free his grip of the gun and causing it to fall out of his reach onto the ground below. (Agility vs. Dexterity: 10 vs. 9) Just as Person reaches into his vest to pull out his pistol, Greatness swings his Katana. (10+2 vs. 7+2) He aims for the same neck wound he had created before, which is now being covered by Person's hand in an attempt to stop the bleeding; the blade fails to reach his neck for a second time, but it manages to cut into that hand protecting that wound in the first place, severing Person's right hand of nerves and creating yet another bloody wound.

Person was not in the best of shape; his attempt to block Greatness's attack with the blunt part of his machine gun resulted in that gun being swatted out of his hand, his hand that now featured yet another bloody wound. Bleeding everywhere, Person takes out his Smith & Wesson with his less dominant hand, one of the few parts of his body left undamaged by Greatness, and opens fire on the Samurai at close range.  (6+2 vs. 9) Person fires a single shot right for the Samurai's neck which barely even grazes it. Before he can curse, Greatness counterattacks, (5+2 vs. 10+2) but before Greatness can thrust his blade forward Person smashes the blunt end of his pistol on Greatness's head. This fails to hurt the Samurai as he is protected by his broken helmet, but it does cause him to recoil and stop attack for one moment. Greatness shakes his head to clear it and bears his teeth at Person, entering a fighting stance. Person simply holds his sidearm out in front of him; he could feel the energy slipping out through his wounds, but the adrenaline was enough to keep him at 100% at least for the moment. Person definitely knew one thing; by the end of the next Turn, there would only be one Wiki Warrior left standing in the camp.

NAV lets out a piercing warrior cry and charges Hawk. (1+2 vs. 7-1) The broken bottle spears forward but Hawk jumps backwards well before it hits him; he winces as he lands on his injured ankle. (9-1 vs. 5+2) Hawk goes on the offensive and jams the stock of his gun into NAV's mouth, knocking out a couple of his teeth and splitting his lip open. NAV's head goes backwards with whiplash before returning to its forward state, now brimming with deep anger; unfortunately for the politician, he did not share NAV's ability to gain strength equal to his opponent's rage. (7+2 vs. 6-1) NAV spits up some blood and runs at Hawk who expects a vertical or maybe horizontal slash of the broken bottle. Instead, NAV unleashes a previously unseen diagonal slash; Hawk leans his upper body out of the attack, but the bottle cuts through Hawk's suit-pants and into the flesh of his right thigh. While the ankle wound may hurt more, the thigh wound was much more severe; Hawk looks down to see he is spilling a significant amount of blood into the snow beneath his feet. (10-1 vs. 9+2) This wound breaks out a new beast in Hawk, no longer is he the calm and reflective fighter, but the sight of so much blood has undone all of his civility. He growls and swings his gun at NAV like a caveman striking down an ape not out of fear but primal rage; NAV is taken aback by this sudden furious onslaught and ducks just in time for the gun to pass over him and destroy one of the police car's windows. (Hawk: Pain has concluded)

Twinwolf remembers he's involved in the greatest competition known to mankind, which leads to him reluctantly close the pages of "Attractive Men Exerting Themselves by Lifting Heavy Objects (But Not Too Heavy) Monthly' and resume the mission at hand. When the store clerk takes a phone call and turns around, Twinwolf's hand glides over the cigarette lighter display. (4) Twinwolf nabs a single lighter and stuffs it into his suit while the clerk is busy chatting. Twin heads out the door, but hears the clerk call out to him, "Sir, aren't you going to buy anything?" The clerk's tone of voice is noticeably suspicious.

Ukranian picks herself back up out of the snow and brushes herself off with her single arm. Seeing NAV's golf club lying unprotected in the snow, she snatches it up and looks back at the Indian Warrior only to watch him cut a broken bottle deep into Hawk's legs. Never one to be counted out of a feet, Ukranian runs at NAV while he is busy trying to dodge Hawk's frenzied rifle swinging. (8-1-1 vs. 1+2) Ranger's new patented "Golf Club-Fu" is a lot more clunky than expected, especially when trying to wield a golf club with one arm while applying incompatible martial arts knowledge to it, but the one situation it comes unexpectedly in is when you use it to whack an unsuspecting opponent in the back, which is precisely what Ukranian does. The club-end strikes NAV right in the left kidney and he goes down onto one knee, eyes widening at the new sensation of having a blunt object smash into a sensitive organ in your back. (Sharp Pain: -1 to all rolls for 1 turn)

Nunzillor waits patiently until she is called in. She tells the doctor about the wound in her arm, which is successfully patched up within minutes and cured of all ailments, even the bullet is removed by the extensive care of the medical staff. She is set to walk out the door when her doctor asks her that one wonderful question that reminds her of the bureaucratic medical sister in the United States, "The price of your operation comes out to a sum of $250. Ms. Nunzillor, who is your insurance provider?"

Execute flexes the old assassination muscles by wrapping his arm around the neck of the injured sailor. (7+2 vs. 3-1) Execute twists his arm until he feels the satisfying crunch of a dislocated neck and lets the stiff body of the sailor fall on the ground in front of him. This allows him more time to take inventory of the store-room to locate more explosives, but he mainly finds foods and raw materials. Not only does this mean the ship lacks good explosives, the low-value commodities on the ship lead him to believe that it must not be the main ship, certainly not the one that Conquistador Cortez would be on...

It looks as if our two battles may be drawing to a close soon! In Person VS. Greatness, the veteran Wiki Warrior is suffering major battle wounds from the skilled Samurai who regenerates no less! Will Greatness continue cutting apart Person until he has no more blood to spare, or will Person get that lucky bullet that turns the tide? In the three-way Hawk & U.R. VS. NAV, the Ancient Warrior deals a major blow on Hawk but the clutch U.R. delivers her first solid hit on NAV! Will NAV bottle Hawk to death or will U.R.'s assistance be the turning point!
But lets not forget the others contestants! Will Twinwolf get away with petty theft? Can Execute assassinate the leader of European Exploration? How will Nunzillor fund a revolution without medical insurance? And can Abstract live a completely normal life undisturbed by everyone else!

Find out on the next installment of Wiki-Warriors whenever the GM updates on time!

Okay, grab the body, pat it down for anything useful, then chuck it over the side of the ship, preferably the one facing the ocean, then go to the next ship in line and look for something like a captains room.

Hrmm, alright then, look for some firestarting materials, even just a box of matches would be fine.

In the interest of saving time, I'll say know that your search comes up empty. If you looked on another part of the ship, you could find a latern, oil, or maybe even a tinderbox.

"I do not have medical insurance.  But doctor-san, should I have medical insurance?  Should anyone have medical insurance?  No, healthcare should be freely provided by the state!  We can make that happen!  Join me and we will fight for a medical revolution!"

Ask doctor-san to join me in a medical revolution.  Explain that he can bring his co-workers too.

Nunzillor, your character is doing a fine job but her political ideology confuses me. :p

((She's anti-US government but pro-Danish government, since she has specifically come to "return" Denmark, Wisconsin to the actual country of Denmark.

So she would be pro anything that would promise to decrease the size of US government in Wisconsin (ie secession lead by the Tea Party) but also pro universal healthcare (to be provided by the country of Denmark when the city of Denmark is returned to its rightful country).  That's how I try to make sense of it, at least...))
