I've been looking over Shadowrun's books (my buddy gave me the 4th edition books) and I love everything I find in it, but I'm too busy in real life to gather others to start playing or find a group near me. So I'm turning to you guys.

I have most, if not all (I think, I may be wrong) of the fourth edition books (send me a PM if you need the books, I angered Toady One last time I posted them openly on here. It would be best if you hunted them down yourself. I'll supply a list of the books I have below (feel free to tell me of any I'm missing)).

I also wish to do this Play By Post, because with life as a Canadian college student, I don't have time to set aside for roll20 or similar.

I have no problem with that at all.

I don't know how many people we should run with. After all, we still need someone to run the game if we go through with it

I'm interested in joining. Played some Shadowrun a few years ago. Not very good at GMing though.

I would do it, but I have absolutely no idea what I would be doing here and I don't know enough lore to run it. Plus, I want to try out as a player, and not as a GM that I find myself becoming.

Once again, if its the books you need, I'll help you get a hold of them, just send me a PM.

Awesome! Four players can make this interesting. Also, glad to have two familiar players in on this. I don't know how many people we should go, but we may need to cap out soon...

Sadly, still need someone to run this. I've been asking around, but I don't think Shadowrun is as largely played on here as D&D or Pathfinder is. Which is sad, because Shadowrun seems fantastic to play, even if it isn't the fantasy setting people expect it to be. But I could also be wrong and this might turn into a trainwreck...

I would offer to be the GM since you guys seem desparate for one, but I'm almost certain that I'd be a terrible one if I tried. Especially since it's a system I am not familiar with in the slightest. Sorry about that. Though if you need another player I'd be totally up for that. Shadowrun does seem like a really interesting setting after all.

I would be willing but i need the books and i have limited time but I'd try to make it interesting....so not entirely sure if i have the time but i would enjoy it

Good to hear we have some volunteers.

I also don't know if we'll use this thread for OOC or just run the game in here. I do think the GM should have their own thread so they don't have to wait for me to fix the OP.

So far, we have two possible GMs and 4 possibly 5 players. I'll add them to the list I have in the OP (which I'm doing now)

I'm thinking of going technomancer myself and rolling as the party hacker

I'm leaning towards a street samurai at the moment. Lots of fancy skills and augments to gun down enemies in the blink of an eye and all of that jazz. Though reading through the rulebook I'm getting a ton of different ideas floating through my head, so I'm not entirely certain what I want to play just yet.

Have a backstory include a few characters ill probably include em in the story or campaign if im gm either way it's good to have a backstory
