Take the last song you listened to and make it into a game

Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
(Songs you are listening to when making a post count too.)

I guess I'm just totally bored right now to make a thread like this, but whatever...

Civil War - Colours On My Shield.

A never-ending cRPG with a power metal soundtrack?
I don't know, something about "Warriors fight forever" and "For a thousand years and more, we'll stand with guts and pride" seems to suggest that to me.

The last song playing on my MP3 player before I arrived at work was...

Majesty - Heroes

... you play as several different people, jumping between various viewpoints during a long civil war trying to topple a tyranical king.
Most of the characters die brutally in heroic sacrifices, but not before achieving an important task for the rebellion ultimately leading to the death of the tyrant.

The epilogue reveals that the "game" was the coward in his deathbed, re-telling what he saw and heard during the war and talking about the people he met there before he deserted, wishing he had stayed until the end instead.

Gameplay would probably be like Witcher 3, but much more idealistic in tone.

Oh and everybody is a norse.

(Actually... I think I'd play that)

The last thing I listened to was this song about scheduled blackouts. I can't really see how to make a game out of it...

This.

The slow descent of a clown into utter madness. Cumulating as he is realized as the Dark Messiah of Clowns and leads the juggalo hordes on a continent spanning rampage of debauchery, slaughter, and most importantly. Honking.

In this game. There is no happy ending.

Only honks.

This.

I dunno. A game about somebody chasing a distant, heroic figure, going through many adventures and finally catching up, only to realize it was them all along, and that they've been the same distant figure to a past version of themself.

I don't think any of Ninja Sex Party's songs should be made into games. Just thinking about it might be too much for one's mind.

Often when I hear new music I do think of it in terms of games, so this is a pretty cool thread. Xanga - Get Outta My Dreams was playing when I read this, and I remember my first reaction to it (after you get past the uh, initially jarring sample) was to think of the Malay Emergency, and how it'd make a pretty great strategy game to play as either the British or the MCP, trying to either survive off isolated villages as the insurgents or force a surrender as the British.

The Killing Game - Skinny Puppy

Third-person walking simulator-slash-platformer ala Limbo. You are a human sacrifice, pursued across a poisoned land by the members of your own tribe. If they catch you, they will rip you apart and consume you to guarantee a place in heaven. If you get to the fog that marks the end of the barren hell scape, you may enter it to find your place to heaven.

Platformer with roguelike elements, this sounds like. Combat is entirely focused on taking hits; your character cannot attack and the focus is either enhancing your ability to dodge or strapping random bits of metal and rock together to make shields and armor.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

"The Bloody Verdict of Verden"

I'm picturing something like Dynasty Warriors: Holy Roman Empire edition.

The most recent song for me (well, collection of songs really) is the Bastion OST. How ever could I turn this into a game?
