Civilization Name: Ur-Mazeek, the First-Spilled Nation
Civilization Race: Orcs
Race Description: tall, well-built creatures fond of violence, industry, upheavel and procreation, orcs live chaotically in their ancestral land of Ur-Mazeek, the First-Spilled Nation, an underground trial-and-error anarchy ruled by almost-restrained magic threatening the very stability of the universe.
Deity Name: Radiant Odo, the Exploded God, the Fourfold Lord, the Keeper of Inopportune Times, Messenger of Mistaken Creation
Deity Description: Radiant Odo has three major aspects worthy of consideration - firstly, his gray, decayed, pockmarked, black-haired head, which orbits the planet and lights the cerebral path of night. Then there is his burning, ever-glowing liver, which lights the daytime path of indulgence. Thirdly there is his exploded body, which shows up as specks and streaks of light in the night sky, marking the time for dispassionate, unquestioning work. There is also a fourth aspect, but we'll get to that in a bit.
Deity Spheres: Light, Heat, Disaster
Creation Myth: the race of orcs as well as the cosmos itself was fashioned from a grand and amazing cataclysm, a misfortune of tremendous proportion caused when Radiant Odo, in a great rush to create the universe as we know it, managed to somehow trip over a different instance of himself (time was a bit nonlinear then) and impact the seed of reality, imparting it with the blood and ichor of his skull minutely before he himself was blown to bits, his head flying ten million circles around the world, his liver spinning up into a massive gout of celestial flame and his body shattering into uncountable shining bits, all of which are flying about even now with no evident rhyme or reason. The minute deposit of Odo's head wound ichor, however, remained behind - this spillage soaked into the earth, where it grew for many seasons, heated by the flame of Odo's liver, and produced the race of orcs, prodigies of disaster, children of the earth, the celestial chaos of creation made manifest and slammed into the fabric of reality with all of the implications in question! The universe is a disaster, and at the very center of it lies the orcish race, learning to harness the ichor of Odo that forms their very core as well as learning from the external aspects of the originator of being, adopting Four Main Things that define orcish society - plotting, indulging, moving without thought and the path of ultimate oneness with the universe.
Starting Biome: a great and ancient crater impregnated with orc burrows, occasionally called Ur-Mazeek, but just as often regarded as Odo's Impact. The crater, possibly due to the influence of the orcs, is now overgrown with gravely unnatural flora and fauna, and a whole lot of things work not quite as an experienced scholar would expect them to even above the burrow complex, let alone anywhere inside it.
Starting Tree: magic!
Specific Interest: the Universal Ripple-Moves, when studied and properly understood, impart an enviable mastery of destabilization of a great many known and unknown systems.
