DFhack and Dwarf Therapist, where do I get them and how do I install them?

I have been unable to find these two tools in a version that works with the latest Dwarf Fortress, and with several months of searching and despair I'm finally asking where to get them and how to install them? Direct links please, I have tried googling and searching the forums as far as my skills allow, but for some unfathomable reasons have always failed on my own.

If you get the starter pack and launch the game through that, DFHack will start automatically and Therapist will be in the utilities tab. It's by far the easiest way to get them both.

Starter pack is easier, but I feel it's better to know what features you're installing. There's all sorts of stuff it enables by default.

Just a random thought, but you are running the latest version of Dwarf Fortress (0.40.24), right? It actually seems a lot harder to find utilities for older versions of DF.
