Okay so, went a little too mechanical with the previous attempt with Clash of Empires. As such, with this one, it'll be far more fluid.
PremiseYou're a prospective tribal leader in a land full of tribes, in a fantasy setting. You start out with a traveling band of nomads - keep moving, or settle. It's up to you. From there you can take your burgeoning settlement in any direction you wish - start building a motte and bailey and to follow an empire, ally with the orcs and goblins, seek the strength of a dragon through worship, raise the dead, summon a demon, whatever. Knock yourselves out... just make it make sense. You're a human/elf/other typical mystical creature with a likewise band of peoples. Work with it.
GameplayRoleplay, roleplay, roleplay. There are little constraints. You will have figures in the sense of populations and standing armies, but it's down to you to roleplay your nation in a freeform gameplay. ie, you can post as much as you like with other players. To each decision you make, you highlight it to the GameMaster who puts it through the magical mysterious machine, which spits out a result. Continue play.
Time and "turns"Time progresses in regards to real-time; a season will pass after 7 days. You will get an main update on your civilization at the end of each season (I'll try to keep to this as best I can), though you will also get "mini-updates", most likely results from actions, after actions.
Player QualificationsConsidering the intensity of the game, there'll be requirements to get in-game so as not to, no offence meant, reduce, ruin or undermine the gameplay of others. Please only join in if you intend to put thought and development into this, rather than trying to "win".
How to JoinCharacter name.
Tribe name.
Tribe colour.
Describe your flag to me.
Tell me about your peoples. Who are they? Where did they come from? What brought them here? What do they value? Do they have any ongoing feuds, alliances or related-by-blood/marriage tribes? Do they suffer from creature attacks, a disease, an unknown traitor?
Slightly meta-gaming, but... What do you want to lean your nation toward, so it may influence your decision or event types? you can PM me this if you want to keep it secret from other players.
Paint a spot on the map you want to begin at. This isn't a settlement, just a starting location.
