possessed wont gather stuff

this is kind of annoying..    one dwarf is possessed, and ive watched the cycle of things he wants, and i have them all, but he wont go and get them to start thing.

i have the leather he asks for, the cloth, and alot of metal...     but he wont go and get any of it and start the productions....

Check the items inside the workshop.  If you only see leather, find out if you have both silk and plant cloth.  If you're lacking one, make or buy some of it.  Quickly.

all i see is metal, thats it.

Are you sure he doesn't want thread? Sometimes they will only take thread and not cloth.
