Also, why are you guys concerned about Ray's gender? Their name is male, so obviously the government thinks they're male. It's the rules except Ray is actually Rachel

To tell you the truth, I've heard of equal instances where a girl's name abbreviated to Ray and the same for a boy's.
There's my dad, Raymond, my cousin's gf Raiya (prefers Ray)
There's also my mom's old co-worker Raida, and a lot more others

That seems like a good idea. It'll give the characters a chance to get to know each other (unless everyone wants it to start out comically where nobody gets along)

I agree, but there is some fun to be found in having a group thrown into danger without knowing who they've been thrown in with. RP is a must, but I could imagine that the first session would be equally entertaining without RP to start off with
