You can either choose to stay still or move. If players claim the same tile, opposing dice will be rolled and the person with the higher roll gets the claim. Also, I amended the rule so that you can't stay still for more than one turn, so that people can't perpetually cheese bad tile effects.

I shall move. I shall have the effect on this tile to be to reduce the lap counter by 1 upon landing on the tile.

Okay, when I move I will put the following effect on the tile I land on:

On Fire!!!

 You gain a +2 to movement while you are on fire, and you always move first. Anyone you pass or land in the same square with is also on fire, as is anyone who passes you are lands in the same square as you. If you land in a tile with an effect, you activate the effect and then immediately deplete it. If you land on a blank space, it becomes a On Fire!!! but only with one use remaining. If you land on a On Fire!!! you immediately deplete it and go back to start. In any event, after landing on a tile and activating its effect (if any), you are no longer on fire.

P.S. I know it may not seem like it, but the three separate effects of landing on a tile are just that. Separate. If you land on a tile with an effect, you activate it, deplete it, and are no longer on fire. You do not replace it with a On Fire!!! I know you probably got a heart attack when you read the effect. I hope you're still alive to read this.

As for effect, this can be anything, right?
If so I'll make tile 4's effect cause the player to move two die rolls forward and one backwards, activating the effect of the tile landed on at the end of the move.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

The Beartrap starts Open.

This is a pretty well thought out effect. I like it, but not enough to not contest with you over the tile.
