With the group sitted, Mouse begins "First of, this is Serena Miyajima. She familiar with the whole magic girl thing so don't worry about her being here."

"As for your questions, I had some bad news, but that personal stuff. no reasons for you lot to worry.

The awakening, if natural, causes hallucinations that briefly remove the magic girl's sense of the real world thus most are surprised when they come back discover their change of clothes. If you induce it instead, it will hurt since the pill put your powers into overdrive and breaks the mental blocks on them. For this reason, an awakened magic girl should never take a pill.

The limit of your powers will be small at first. Magic is like any muscle and need to train to get stronger. That flaming fist I showed you at school? When I first started, I could only do that and only as Nekomata."

The blonde speaks "You would most likely start with some basic manipulation of your element, not even strong enough to create your element. That will change in time."

[SOLDIER First]

"Pill?"

Zoey reaches for her handbag and pull out a red pill, about 1cm long "This one. It overclock your magic power."

[SOLDIER First]

Sumika reaches for it.
"Gimme. I want to get this over with."

Sumika reaches for it.
"Gimme. I want to get this over with."

The effects of the pill quickly hit and you stop seeing people. You see a cat of fire in front of you, a human of lightning to your left, a flying insect of fire a little way off and something evil with eyes on eyes wrapped around an elegant angel behind the cat before the sensation of your heart burning overwhelm you.

The moment you are aware, you note that you are on the floor, that you are wearing a coat and you can feel heat above you. "How do you feel." Zoey asks above you.

[SOLDIER First]

"What... What was that?

"Sumika are you okay?!"

Asuma in fear of her new friend going soft in the legs as soon as she took the pill.

"Can you stand or say something?

You didn't say the pain would be this bad Mrs. Mouse."

Asumas face a in a bit of terror. She hadn't thought that a magic inducing pill could ever exist or do something like this in a non-fantasy world.

[SOLDIER First]

"No, it didn't really... Hurt...
At first.
But I saw some really creepy stuff..."
Sumika stands up at this point, noting her outfit. "I expected a tutu or something. Huh.
But, like, there was something made of fire, and something made of lightning, and this fire-bug thing and someone... Evil, with eyes on their eyes. But they were also an angel, I think. God, that was weird."

"Is that normal Mrs. Mouse" Asuma asked cautiously. She was starting to have second thoughts about taking this pain pill.

"An has anyone like overdosed on these before?"

Unnoticed, Zoey's eyes briefly flick over to Serena.

"I apologize for understating the level of pain, forcible breaking a mental block hurt like nothing else and I should of remember that."

Sumika notes that Asuma feels static-ky. (I'm presuming Asuma was used to help Sumika up and thus touched.)

"Is that normal Mrs. Mouse" Asuma asked cautiously. She was starting to have second thoughts about taking this pain pill.

"An has anyone like overdosed on these before?"

"Yes, but one user did seem a manageable level of pain, your classmate miss Fuyou and didn't react to the awakening. And no, the reaction of an already awaken magic girl taking one make overdosing impossible." This time the flick toward Serena is noticed by you two.

[SOLDIER First]

"Asuna, you feel weird. What's the deal?
...Hey, Mouse, what can I do now that I'm" -here, she suddenly frowns, as if just realizing it- "awake? As you say it?"
She looked at the blond lady... Weird.
